They are probably having some difficulty in taking the measure of this "pommy" company.

Not at all - on several counts. One is something I have referred to in the distant past as the "telfer syndrome". Most think the old girl has not got a lot left in her and she is well and truly aging in mining terms.

This mind set will linger (in some if not most) until the drill bit and mill prove otherwise.

One other is the "deep mine syndrome". Most do not like them and there are easier gold mining pickings/investments in aus.
