Most underground mines of depth (some not at depth) have water "issues" that are managed, as SAS says, in several ways pending circumstances.

They can be very damp and humid places to work; I know this as I have worked in several.

I put the simple question to SD at the last town hall - "do we have a water problem"; his reply was an emphatic "no".

Will not happen.

I tried to make a similar point some time back but it got lost in all the carp about the (in some cases) ridiculously high repat cost for Telfer (if closed) or that liability being taken on by another.
