I think you are right about the "dicking about". As I have said both publicly (this board) and privately (our slap-up lunches) this has been a traders (short or otherwise) share for some time and one should not even begin to quantify how much has been made doing so. This talk of "the shorts getting burnt" does bring a smile to my face when promoted by some on here. Why because it is all in the numbers and they (and others) are now "playing" with their profits - the money has been made; anything after October 13 2023 is pure unadulterated (shameless) cream.
