Maybe investors starting to cotton on to the huge potential of these 4 x WOs and EMS 1001, pure guess work based on the CSo-96 pumpjack video on twitter and my Sunday post and but i estimate these 4 WOs will be worth 600 barrels a day "minimum" to ECHO

I also invested initially as a punt during the rights issue, but have added substantially since, for me (IMHO) Martin Hull joining ECHO ie leaving a long term Rothschild career behind was a big indicator ECHO are going somewhere, i cannot see this guy jump ship from Rothschilds on a whim, agreed results to-date have not been impressive but the game is not finished yet, again IMHO i think the reason for reporting all 4 WOs together is the results will be hugely more impressive and impossible for the market to ignore,

tradeinator, with respect the only thing that will propel this share into 20p plus this year is La Bomba, this applies to long term or short term holders, i understand many see TA as the big one and some like the thought of Bolivia, for myself i can hang around but if i am being honest a long term drill in Bolivia does not appeal, purely my own thoughts offcourse.

Lee, like your style, very subtle and yes you are correct, La Bomba is the big one and the reason many continue to hold, agreed its likely initial testing only by end of October but you can look on the bright side, unless you have increased your £1000 holding in ECHO since your 5th July post you will not make to big a loss.

NO, its the lack of good news that has put us here, we are waiting on official good news (RNS) on these WOs, not tweeted photos of surface pumps, good as these photos are they are not going to change the sentiment.

Looking at all the small sells lately and the price vs sales/ buys its got to be obvious someone wants this SP down and to scare PIs into selling, its not rocket science to guess why, i guess its stormy weather, just got to ride this rough patch out while keeping a tight grip on those shares, and if you have the money to spare, average down at these low prices.

Trellis, earlier today you said your holding with an average of 14.90p, if you are so sure the price will drop more why not sell and buy back in at a lower price, really does not make sense you talking the SP down while your holding.

I would agree. i am quite certain we will be back to 14 /15 / 16p with good WO results, add a penny or two to that for ELM 1004, as for La Bomba, who knows, if we have bottom end commercial oil its still a positive, but we may have a hell of a lot more and if that's the case i see no reason 25/30p or more is attainable.

Trellis, you speak utter crap, first 2 wells not as we wanted, awaiting commissioning & tests on WOs and testing of the "big one" plus fracking of 1004, no Falklands or military dictatorships involved in this.

Very possible we may have (unexpected) news on 1004 soon, rig was not needed for fracking,

ChezNous, afraid there are too many unknowns to calculate a realistic figure, depth of well, oil viscosity & oil vs water content plus a few other considerations, i also looked for but could not find the pre work over production figures for this well,
However as a guesstimate i was working along the lines of 5 imp gallons per stroke (5 x 8640 strokes = 43200 imp gallons divided by 35 to give barrels = 1234 barrels per day but we need to factor in water content then CGCs 50%, trying to be realistic i guess we / ECHO might end up with 300 barrels a day @ todays price of $ 84 for light oil = $ 25200 per day = 9 million dollars a year, pure guess work and as said above no idea what this well was producing pre workover. There could also be some gas to consider.

Wiki states these pumps generally produce "5 to 40 litres (1 to 9 imp gal; 1.5 to 10.5 US gal) of liquid at each stroke" if we time the pump on the twitter site i come up with 8640 strokes per 24 hour period, do the maths yourself

Argentine gas import data (reported in December each year) can be found at the below link, possibly less productive YPF wells being shut off, makes no sense to import gas when they can produce their own.
