A lot of its leaseholders are handing back the keys and to make matters worse they owe the company a lot of back dated rent and beer money. I hate to imagine how bad their bad debt book will look the next quarter.

Hardly any of the leaseholders are willing or able to buy the freehold because they cannot get the mortgage in this economic climate.

I had a lease from punch. Biggest mistake of my life. As per tezza1180, the company is the worst managed in the world!! No support for any retailer. Spoke to other licencees most of the opinion the co will go belly up next year. At lest 70% of their pubs are making losses. A lot will close after christmas and new year owing the co huge amounts of overdue rent.
