Re the RNS Monday morning comment, I have seen companies release an RNS just before the start of an investor presentation, so Monday 7AM is not a given.

ABC news in Oz predicting that a company down there has a rapid 10 minute Antigen test about to be produced.

"Mr Esplin said it was hoped the tests could be ready for mass production and roll out in the next 12 months."

LOL, gives you an idea of how much demand there is going to be for the products ODX will be producing, very soon...NOT in 12 months time.

We have Heathrow testing news imminent, Government orders imminent, Investor presentation Monday, and confirmation of commercial sale of one of the portfolio of tests.

This could easily be 200p next week, with more good news!

Price doubled (- 1p) in the days after the last presentation, so fingers crossed for a repeat!

Home use is very misleading, the main point is that they do not need a medical professional to administer the test, so it could be in an airport setting, or anywhere else.

The recent large scale test was done in folks cars!

Agree t10, and yet another Gov't shambles, it is their main area of expertise (creating shambles in as many areas as possible), but I think that they will be sold in Chemists/Amazon, not via the Gov't.

You may be right!!

However there will be weekly testing, and perhaps daily antigen, of all doctors/consultants/nurses, and then there will be testing for those travelling, care home residents and carers, those wanting to get into theatres and sporting events, the millions of air passengers.

So doing it from you own home, yeah I think you may be right, but the working/travelling/entertainment/sporting event attending public could end up with multiple tests a week, so I am not fussed re home testing ;-)

Oh and as for Amazon/Chemists, I think that will definitely happen.

These types of reports are just vanity bait to entice companies to buy them as their name appears on them, several outfits swamp the internet with them.

I am sure the emphasis will be on the higher margin tests, but with this Gov't diversity is not a bad thing, so another large scale test would keep the bank manager, investors and staff happy, less risk the better all round.

They won't, they have the expertise, so they will just increase capacity, likely takes a couple of months, which given the Avacta timelines, means they will be about to commit/ramp up.

That also means they will have to announce very very soon......

Likely they will now be rushing to get the MOU inked and signed, albeit with the usual caveats, no guarantee etc. etc.

However, how many UK companies can manufacture in sufficient quality and quantity??

Operation Moonshot will have a necessary bias towards UK companies with a second wave coming, as national supplies can be requisitioned by the domestic country, so foreign manufacture is inherently risky.

Even with caveats on an RNS, hold on tight folks!!

To those that were saying (crying in the case of the derampers) 'where are the orders' it is now certain that there will be a steady flow of orders RNS' hopefully over a period of weeks.

Doubt I need to elaborate on the effect this will have on the SP...
