Johnny - thanks for link, interesting article, as is the other linked with it which suggests that burford’s operating model might be illegal in the US, there are arguments on either side but apparently a judge is reviewing it.GL
I don't usually comment on companies i don't own, but having been a shareholder here for several years and having only recently sold i will make an exception. In my opinion nothing has changed other than the company is 1 more year down the road and their profile, particually in the US must be growing. As nik phillpot has stated many times there is little competition across the pond so all should be good there. Over here the list of businesses Eckoh work with is testament to the quality of the products Eckoh provides. The fact that a dividend is paid also shows the confidence the BOD have in the business and its future success. The only slight concern i have is that the last RNS stating contracts won did not give a monetary value to the company of said contracts, something that they always did previously, maybe to prevent competitors getting a handle on their charges, but who knows. Anyway good luck to all holders, though i don't think you'll need it in the medium to long term.
Have held these for up to 4 years and was thinking of getting out as i wanted the money elsewhere, as such i was doing a trial sell on my phone to see what i would get. With Halifax you have 10 secs to accept the negiotated price or it lapses which is what i intended it to do, however i was distracted and caught my phone in just the right place to confirm the sell, hence the sell of c.172000 at 1.30pm. Nothing sinister just a phone operated by a nob!
