Bhants, before you run off I am planning a Norwegian cruise , probably in 2025, what do you recommend- Arcadia or Iona(the newer ship ) which I think you were on.

Thanks for the advice everybody, I think I'll put more into my sipp next year and I will speak to pension wise as well sometime in the future .

I am also fast approaching retiring age and to me pensions are extremely complicated and it is good to hear your thoughts about them.

I have a small pension,sipp and a slightly bigger isa. What I wonder is how much cash one should hold as well ( or percentage) or is some of you fully invested ?

At least your cash is safe if there is any downturns, crashes etc.

Bhants, you probably shouldn't have 2 baskets either but then again you only have 2 to worry about !!!
