Interesting article from Tim Clark about Emirates A380 plans. Looks like our A380’s could still be required. Fingers crossed.

Still here, thanks looed

The 25 aircraft are those delivered to the group over the last two years, no more coming to my knowledge, only an A330 arriving in the next few days. I agree with Upnorth, if they sell the airline for a short term gain, then its all over for TCX, once they lose control of the 'seat cost mile' that they pay per pax, then whichever airline they buy the seats from can charge what they like. They tried this with Easy a couple of years ago, and it didn't work. As for the comment that HG was a safe pair or hands, if you analyse what she actually did, it was common sense and needed doing, her downfall was due to the fact that she ran out of ideas, and didn't understand the travel business. I have a significant holding here, but I'm not sure if its time to pull the red-handle and eject before Frankhauser pulls his next stunt, the next few weeks will be interesting to see if any sale or change of direction takes place. I have no inside knowledge, but as they say, where theres smoke!!!
