You just don’t it.
Firstly, how do you know that the live events are not sponsored? No you don’t. So there’s a source of revenue which you clearly haven’t considered.
Secondly, why the hell do you charge people for a product that generally is unknown. The consumer needs to become familiar with the offering and at this time, there’s no way Melody have a quantitive user base to confidently start charging. They have the product, they have the licenses, they now have a global supterstar. In order to achieve long term succces, they need to be known. Establishing the company name and taking a prime position in the market place is more important than revenue. Revenue will closely follow exposure.
Catch up..... Have you heard of platforms like Instagram, Twitter? Well J.Legend has just exposed the gig to 12.5 million users.... You know how much that would cost to achieve in traditional forms of paid marketing?
