Interesting to read.
That definition is straight from the similar web site. Just saying.

The Usage Rank is based on a SimilarWeb algorithm that factors in Current Installs and Daily Active Users. The Usage Rank weighs more towards engagement (Daily Active users) than to reach (Current Installs), making it the best metric to measure “Active Reach”.
Sweet Baby Jesus Keith...
The artists using the Live from LA Venue are getting more 'highly regarded'... JOJO, JP Saxe...
Melody are having an impact in LA IMO.
Max...
I cannot at all. I'm trying my hardest but just cannot recall any company doing this.
Only Melody... And we now have another 'new' but already highly recognized artist doing a gig on Friday from LA.
It continues.
JP Saxe....
This is Awesome. The Guy had a huge hit recently (if the world was ending).
Very current. Nice one Melody!!!!!!
Horse.
The SP is reflecting volume demand. The SP does not reflect 'speculation'.
The company as yet has not started to focus on revenue streams. There was clearly identification of this in the last RNS. But please note, most (if not all, myself included) are here not for incremental steps up in the SP. We're here for the grand prize, the buyout, the acquisition of Melody being absorbed into one of the larger company's.
Should the company start focusing on revenue, the SP will reflect this. But the company is largely has been developed for the sale IMO. Melody have done really well since inception IMO. The spike IMO was not reflective of value (at that time) and was simply reflective of the investor demand of the stock... based on speculation. Didn't happen, general PI interest dropped and here we are.
Nobody has any idea of the talks behind the scenes. A buyout announcement could happen today, tomorrow, next week, 6 months time, 2 years??? Who knows. But we can fairly confident it WILL happen.
Melody are not going to 'sink'. Far too much commercial interest and value.
'Patience' is a critical requisite when investing in MVR.
"Batty, you do realise that the sp was at or above 5.35 in jan, feb, apr and may and yet after all the hijinks of the last few days the sp is only 4.66. Frankly not that clever eh?"
And what did Melody do to get to 5.35????? Nothing material at all and the SP was at the discretion of MM's.
Wayne.
Good post and should be noted by all. The Chart is very reactive to daily demand and this is very evident by the 'volatility' in Melody's app movement.
The Melody APP got to No.5. That's massive based on what Wayne has outline in his post, over 2 million apps.
Wireless Connect was quite a niche offering and generally targeted at the UK Market, a reactive event in light of the cancellation of the Wireless Festival. If Melody did anything Glastonbury or Coachella scale, it would be number 1 very easily.
This achievement is what 'big' companys are looking and wanting. It clearly can sit there with some of the largest music apps out there, and this company has an MCAP of £70 million.
Would be of no surprise to me if there are now some serious conversations taking place and Melody being acquired by a big name. Exciting position to be in.
Rob....
Machine Gun Kelly will be announced shortly IMO.
Yesterday he was making headlines, would not be surprised if Melody now capitalize. Huge name and will not only keep momentum, but build it further.
Wireless Connect largely was for the benefit of the UK, attention IMO now turns back to the US market.
Adding to the Weekend Stats, Melody's very own You Tube was not considered, and it should have been albeit it did not stream the Wireless Connect event. Over the weekend, nice leap in viewing numbers:
Thursday - +230
Friday - +2708
Saturday - +19971
Sunday - +20265
Monday - +2940
More well received metrics IMO.
Modeller...
Fresh air, daylight..... Go get some.
Do some research into the IOS Chart algorithm then come back with some 'solid' researched comments.
Oh you won't because you'll find that smashing into the Top 5 of the charts over a weekend is a hell of an achievement.
Definitely Harry. Some confident buying there.
Ignore the noise in here. If they’re not moaning about fake trees not being bright enough, it’s Apple colluding with Melody lol.
Horse.
You are accountable for the investments you make. Nobody else.
Observed this last week, a good thing LSE are now clearly taking action.
Well....
Apple snapped up Next VR. If they want to 'collude' with Melody and buy them for a stupid amount of $, that's fine we me and I suspect the majority here LOL.
Apple.... Colluding with Melody....???
Interesting point 'Modeller' if this is the case, would it be fair to suggest that the two have a greater relationship than meets the eye? Apple of late have accelerated their internal VR/AR developments and WITHOUT any doubts Apple are fully aware of Melody. They were APP of the day and over the weekend they proved to all they have a place in the Top 10, no question.
Hi Rob,
To answer your question, not sure. The website from what I can see does not state but i'd say it was running totals.
Regarding the APP, it also hit Top 3 in the google / Android chart so further users there.
Remember we still had a 'SIGNIFICANT' amount of viewers from the previous weekend (JOJOs gig.). Her You Tube page which promoted the Melody collaboration that weekend 'spiked' in terms of her figures.. Over 200k viewers per day so that was a very successful relationship with an artist.
Onwards and upwards, without question!!
As per Social Blade, some of the measurable / accessible metrics of applicable web-based platforms (not app) over the weekend:
MELODY VR YOU TUBE PAGE:
Viewers:
Friday - 2.7k
Saturday - 20k
Sunday - 20k
WIRELESS CONNECT YOU TUBE PAGE:
Viewers:
Friday - 7.5k
Saturday - 165K
Sunday - 24k
IOS CHART - Top Reach @ no.5, remains @no.7 (Current)
Above is exclusive of APP viewers. Not sure what we can benchmark against but in terms of 'Melody', i'd say a very succsuful weekend. No technical issues at all, both A & V were flawless.
