RE: An outlandish thought, or is it?17 Nov 2025 17:14
I started this thread on 24 Aug 2025 and asked the question: "In effect, as a publicly listed company, will Greenland Exploration Limited (soon to become Greenland Energy Company and listed on NASDAQ) go after some of the mining assets in Greenland? For example, takeover of, or merger with, 80M? If you think what I have uttered is outlandish, just bin it in the trash can!"
According to the RNS today (17 Nov 2025), during the transition period, Eric Sondergaard will step down from his position as Managing Director of 80M. During the transition period, the BoD will have Rod McIllree and Troy Whittaker as Executive Directors, and Mike Hutchinson, who is Chairman, as a Non-Executive Director. What is intriguing is that this leaves the BoD without an Executive Managing Director or Chief Executive Officer. For me, this raises a couple of questions:
1. Can we expect an announcement of further changes to the Board?
2. If so, do we have to wait until after the Greenland Energy IPO is completed for such an announcement?
It is worth noting that Eric is expected to join the Board of US-based USFM, and Rod will become an Executive Director of Greenland Energy after the merger and IPO. Moreover, as things stand, all three key roads (Disko, Jameson Land, and Greenswitch), which are expected to lead 80M to potential prosperity, have the name Robert Price written all over the road signs. For me, the writing is on the wall for anyone who cares to read between the lines, and the warning signs are steadily becoming more obvious.
I repeat, if you think what I have uttered is outlandish, just bin it in the trash can!
