although the hot topic ​at the moment is jameson land, i am glad ​that a few posters have highlighted the ​huge potential of the disko asset. i became a shareholder for the very first time in may 2020, primarily on the strength of the prospects/potential of disko (e.g. disko's geological similarities to that of the noril'sk region of siberia, which host the noril'sk-talnakh nickel-copper-cobalt-palladium mining district, one of the world's largest nickel producing districts). for this reason​, i am a fan of disko, and in september 2024 i started this compendium for the disko project and said i would keep it updated for the benefit of readers. here it is, fully updated. if you are tight for time, i would suggest that you at least read the ​"notes" in the rns dated 1 february 2022 -"new joint-venture company incorporated", and ​also watch the two videos, assuming you have not already done so.

This long article (published today) is a useful read. The underlying investment message as a takeaway from the article for me is it reinforces the point that I have repeatedly made here when I started this thread in July 2025. That is, Jameson Land is a high-risk/high-reward play. As for me, I am a high-stakes player, and I took the opportunity of the sub-0.30p share price level in 2025 and hugely increased my shareholding. As a result I now have LARGE shareholding at an average price below 0.30p. In a recent post, I suggested that there are three ways to play this stock, and although I am in decent profit, I have no intention of selling before drilling commences in 2026.

Marco Rubio, US Secretary of State, is set to travel to Denmark this coming week for talks with the foreign ministers of Denmark and Greenland. In the meantime, Naaja Nathanielson, Greenland's Minister for Business and Minerals gave this interview a couple of days in advance of the talks. She wants increased investment and involvement of the US in Greenland's mining sector but is not happy about the strong language coming from the US administration about takeover of Greenland.

Yes, wise to research the fundamentals, which is a must. But in the final analysis, this is a "hope play", and therefore what we are talking about here is really the risk-reward ratio. We know that there is oil under the ground at Jameson Land, but key questions are: (a) When they drill the two wells, will they hit the sweet spots for the oil? (b) If they do, how much oil will they find? (c) How economically viable would it then be to bring the oil to the surface?

I think the share price will keep on rising until they drill, and you could play the stock in three ways: (a) Ride the wave and sell out just before drilling starts: A lower-risk / lower-reward play or (b) Stay with the stock until the drill results come out: A higher-risk / higher-reward play or (c) Split your holding into (a) and (b) in whatever proportion that suits you and play accordingly.

From 2021 to 2024, the share price has made a loss, four years running. We then saw a gain in 2025. Have we turned the corner? I wonder where the share price might finish in 2026? The three key events that are almost certain to influence the share price performance in 2026: (a) Production volume and cash flow from the Ferrandina (Greenswitch) biofuel plant (b) Results from drilling at Disko (c) Results from drilling at Jameson land. And of course any other unanticipated event or events (e.g. Merger with Greenland Energy Company).

Trump’s lust for Greenland is boundless but I hope he will achieve what he wants through negotiations. It seems ​last year his officials were considering the option of Greenland becoming a Compact of Association nation. Such an agreement would allow U.S. armed forces to operate without restriction in the territory in exchange for the U.S. providing protection, certain services, and duty-free trade. The U.S. currently has COFA agreements with Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, and Palau. Next week should be interesting as the Trump administration prepares for a high-stakes meeting with Danish officials, seeking to discuss how the U.S.​ can acquire Greenland.

In my opinion​, Trump has three options with regard to Greenland:

1. Negotiate an agreement such as the "Compact of Free Association" (see below).

2. Negotiate an outright purchase agreement.

3. Takeover by military action.

If 1 or 2 does not work out, will Trump go for 3? US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has announced he will hold talks with Denmark next week. Let's see what the talks bring.

As for item No.10, my view is that Trump means it. Guess who said this? "I have said from the beginning that I unfortunately believe the American president is serious about this (takeover of Greenland)?" - None other than Mette Frederiksen, the Danish prime minister.

Trump is on record saying repeatedly that he wants to takeover Greenland for economic and defence reasons. Trump genuinely believes that safeguarding the Arctic is safeguarding the US. Moreover, he does not have any confidence whatsoever in the European nations in dealing with the Chinese and Russians expansionist intentions into the Arctic. Russia moved into Crimea and then mainland Ukraine under the nose of the European nations. And these nations are now begging Trump for security guarantees for Ukraine, quite laughable. Only now is there a growing realisation among European nations that it has to take more responsibility for its own security in ways it hasn’t fully done before. Who pushed NATO countries to increase their defence spending?

I am also keenly waiting to find out what 80M has to say regarding the Ferrandina (Greenswitch) plant when the next update come out. In particular on (a) Production restart and sales revenue (b) Conversion of the 5 MOUs into definitive agreements (c) Receipts of the Italian government grants.

CC - Take a look at this recent article (15.12.25) which provides a broker’s analysis of Neste (link below). The stock has more than doubled from its April 2025 lows, though it remains around 60% lower over a three-year view. Share price recovery now seems to be on a decent ascend due to company specific reasons (e.g. management change) and factors relating to the bigger picture.
