JK703 - I noted with interest your comment, “A few of the other ladies I know in my town have shares in 80m. I relay the updates whenever I can; it makes for interesting conversation.”

It’s interesting to know that you have an informal network among your ladies who have invested in 80M. That’s great! For my part, I, too, have been doing something similar. I regularly relay the company updates and also share my personal research information on 80M with my son and cousins in the US. I provide them with information and try to answer any questions they may have. Apart from that, I leave them to make their own decisions on investing in 80M. They, in turn, share the information with their wives, relations and friends. I don't know how many of them have since become part of the network.

A lady who joined the network led by my cousin went gung-ho with her maiden purchase. On 4 August 2025, she purchased 30 million shares @ $0.0035 at a total cost of $105,000. Fortunately, she’s done well so far because the share price has been on a steady rise since then and closed 38% up at $0.0105 in the US yesterday. With hindsight, it was a great entry price for her at $0.0035, especially after the March GL announcement on JL. But who will have such guts to make a maiden purchase of that size, and what’s more, all that dosh in just one go? She shared the purchase contract note from the broker with my cousin and he was completely gobsmacked (I, too, have seen the contract note and I couldn’t believe my eyes). She says, if the share price goes to 10 cents or $0.1, her investment of $105.000 would be worth circa $3 million! Obviously, she is a person with an appetite for high-risk/high-reward!

I hope your ladies also took advantage of the low share price in recent months for their purchases. We know that some of the posters here have also done the same. In 2025, the share price hit a low point of 0.23p during 3 April to 9 April and I repeatedly posted the message that I was averaging down. On 28 April 2025 (when the share price was 0.29p), I posted a note to say I would be pleased to see the share price reach AT LEAST 1p before the end of 2025 and gave my reasons for it. I was heavily disparaged for my strategy to average down by a certain poster here. Oh well, I had the conviction, and I am so glad I did what I did. Even if someone was not averaging down, I was of the view that the sub-0.30p level was an excellent entry price on the risk-reward scale. By the way, the closing price of 0.69p yesterday was a high point so far for this year. Let’s see where the price finishes on 31 December 2025, and will it reach my expectation of AT LEAST 1p by then? The way the share price is moving, it looks like 1p might be surpassed soon. Newsflow is expected over the coming weeks and months.

Apart from the expected newsflow from 80M in the coming weeks and months, a key event to look forward to is the listing of Greenland Energy Company (GLND) on the NASDAQ in Q4 2025. The prospectus for the Initial Public Offering (IPO) should tell us all the key information about GLND at the time of listing, including the number of shares on sale, the offer price, and how the company intends to use the capital it raises from the sale, plus a lot more (use the links below).​ Importantly, we will know what value the market assigns to GLND at the time of the IPO. This should provide a good starting point for the initial valuation of 80M’s 30% share in JL, based on the US market’s reaction. Let’s hope for a significant re-rating of our share price as a result.

According to the announcement from PAC on 10 September 2025, MGL has combined legacy seismic data with modern technology and come up with 50 distinct oil and gas targets (wells). Obviously, these wells will be reviewed and prioritised as drilling progresses, and it’s quite likely that not all the wells will get drilled.​ Rod McIllree estimates that each well is likely to cost around $15 million to drill. This is a ballpark average figure for a 3,500-metre deep drill. It will therefore be interesting to see the issue price for the IPO, the amount of capital actually raised, and how GLND intends to use the funds for progressing JL.

The long and short of what I am trying to say here is that we are in no position to predict the IPO share price, the number of shares to be issued, or the amount of capital to be raised unless we make some serious assumptions. Since Rod McIllree will be an executive director of GLND, I wonder to what extent he will be involved in the IPO. Moreover, I can’t help raising the speculative question of whether he ​might become a shareholder of GLND.

Speaking for myself, I can’t even begin to guess the numbers that I could attach to the parameters that would guide the IPO (sale price, number of shares to be issued and the amount of capital to be raised, etc). So, I am keenly waiting for the details of the IPO, the US market’s reaction to the sale, and, IMPORTANTLY for us, how the 80M share price responds to the outcome of the US market’s reaction to the IPO.

I think the IPO is going to be a memorable event in the history of JAY/80M because, as shareholders, we have never faced a situation like this one before. That is, to all intents and purposes, one of our assets is being put to the test on the US Tier 1 market.

JK703 - There was a reason behind my asking you about trading BLLYF on the Pink market in the US. My son works and lives in New York. I also have first cousins who live in Madison, Wisconsin. They are all BLLYF shareholders. Except for my son, the rest have become shareholders only in recent months. I therefore know it is not easy to trade BLLYF on the Pink market. On the other hand, I understand a broker like IBKR offers London Stock Exchange stocks on its platform​. You say it costs about $50 per trade with Schwab. Regarding your comment, "Trump's interest in CRML rubs off on 80 mile", I presume you have seen Jimbolina's post (5 Sept 2025) where he posted Eric Sondergaard's reply to the question about whether 80M has had conversations with the US administration. The reply was, "80M has indeed had proactive conversations regarding our programs with the EU, Denmark and the USA."

The reply from ES did not surprise me at all. In fact, I am inclined to say the conversations may well have been with the Trump administration at a VERY SENIOR level.

Since the tickers you have used apply to the US market, I was wondering whether you are a US-based investor. If so, I would be interested to know of your experience of how easy/difficult to trade BLLYF on the Pink market which, as you will know, is a sub-segment of the OTC market in the US. Thanks

On 28 Mar 2025, I raised these three questions under a different thread when the share price was 0.26p - (link to that thread at the end of this note):

1. Is it likely or unlikely that Disko will be drilled this year?

2. Is it likely or unlikely that Jameson Land will have a partner this year?

3. Is it likely or unlikely that there will be production at Greenswitch this year?

A few days later, on 7 April 2025, I commented: “I would focus on Disko, Jameson and Greenswitch (this was before the disposal of Kangerluarsuk). I would be badly disappointed if 80M failed to deliver some SUBSTANTIVE news before the year is out on at least two of these three projects, possibly all three."

Exactly one month later​, on 28 April 2025, we received the ​SUBSTANTIVE news that well-funded March GL has been selected as the project partner for JL. On the day the news came out, I said I would be pleased with a share price of AT LEAST 1p before the end of 2025 if we have further SUBSTANTIVE news on either Disko or Greenswitch - or even both.

As for Disko, it’s now ​implausible that any drilling would be conducted this year. However, I am not ruling out SUBSTANTIVE news on the project before the end of 2025. I would regard the announcement of a partner for Disko and confirmation of drilling in 2026 as SUBSTANTIVE news.

Is my share price expectation of at least 1p before the end of 2025 an unreasonable judgment? I don’t think so for two reasons: (a) Current share price momentum triggered by a recent string of announcements on JL from both 80M and Pelican (b) Anticipated newsflow between now and the end of the year on all three projects (Disko, JL and Greenswitch)​, plus any surprise announcements (who can tell). I must add here that I am expecting a considerable amount of global media ​​coverage about Jameson Land Basin’s oil potential in the run-up to the IPO of Greenland Energy Company (GLND) on NASDAQ in Q4 2025.

Now let’s look at a few high and low points of the share price in 2025 and the corresponding events:

IvRoche - Some of the factors I took into account before expressing the opinion that I would not rule out the possibility of 80M merging with GLND were:

1. 80M currently has 4.3 billion shares in issue. How often and how long can the company continue to engage in equity dilution to progress its projects? Yes, expected income from GS would provide some relief, but the plant is at an early stage, and the two key projects Disko and JL will need substantial funding even with a free carry. On the other hand, as part of a well-resourced GLND, funding would not be an issue.

2. At the moment, the ONLY route for investing in JL is via 80M on AIM. However, once GLND is listed, investors (particularly US investors) would be able to use NASDAQ.

3. RM currently holds circa 450 million 80M shares. Should there be a merger, I am unsure what the swapping arrangements for the shares might be. Since NASDAQ is a bigger market than AIM, it would provide RM the opportunity to scale down his acquired GLND shareholding without unsettling the market.

4. Finally, and quite importantly, if RM felt 80M’s future would be better served via a merger, I am sure he would go for it.

Be that as it may, I respect your opinion that since GLND is an energy company, with particular focus on oil, a merger may not be in the offing. It will, however, be interesting to see what the IPO document for GLND says about its specific business areas of priorities in Greenland before the listing takes place in Q4 2025.

The Greenland Government banned oil exploration and extraction after the general election in 2021. Oil was not a major theme in the 2025 election campaign either. Indeed, a new party proposing an independent Greenland energised by oil extraction called Qulleq (literally “oil”, a reference to Inuit oil lamps) failed to win a single seat in the 31-seat parliament. Despite Qulleq’s failure, the dramatically remade political landscape may allow changes to the future of oil exploration and extraction. Five of six parties support reconsidering the ban on oil, with only IA (the current governing party) maintaining strong opposition. More than ever before, oil must be understood in relation to the prevailing independence sentiment. For the time being at least, it is highly unlikely the ban will be lifted any time soon and almost certainly not until after the next election in 2029, if at all. So what will GLND ‘s focus be in Greenland apart from JL?

Turning to my favourite Disko, I agree with you. I also noted with particular interest the statement: "Alongside Jameson, 80 Mile CONTINUES TO ADVANCE its 100% owned Disko-Nuussuaq nickel-copper-cobalt project, with discussions underway to identify the right partner to fund drilling."

An update on Disko is due, and it will be interesting to see how it reads.

I noted with interest that some of you have posted to say you have averaged down. I wish you all good fortune with your belief and courage to average down.

I have unshakable confidence and belief in 80M’s assets, in particular Disko but now JL as well. I therefore took the view that the low share price level in the recent months provided me with a great opportunity to average down. So, I went on a heavy buying spree while the share price was below 0.30p. This strategy has enabled me to get my average price down to below 0.30p. Consequently, I managed to turn the value of my shareholding from being highly negative to highly positive. Of course, what this meant was pumping in substantial amounts of money into the stock. I was quite prepared to go down this route because I felt the stock was undervalued and had the guts and means to buy more shares. This approach may not suit everyone, so please do not take this as general financial advice. Each individual has to weigh up all the relevant factors according to their own circumstances and take the decision that's right for them.

If all goes well with Disko, JL and Greenswitch, I am expecting the share price to move up by MANY MULTIPLES of what it is now. I will also NOT rule out the possibility of 80M merging with the soon-to-be NASDAQ-listed Greenland Energy Company (GLND) some time in the future. It will be interesting to see what market cap NASDAQ assigns to GLND when it is listed.

The cost of extracting oil & gas in Greenland will not be as low as in many other locations. But will modern smart drilling economics play a part in keeping the costs low enough to stay profitable, even when prices dip? The JL project involves global leaders and internationally experienced operators such as Halliburton (founded in 1919 in Houston, Texas) providing initial logistics planning and for securing services and IPT Well Solutions (founded in 1991 in Denver, Colorado) providing project management services, and then Stampede Drilling. The former two companies are knowledgeable in smart drilling economics, including the application of AI. They must know what they are doing and the ground challenges in Greenland to get the best out of the project. I presume they will therefore be working in close partnership with Stampede Drilling in ensuring that the project costs are kept as low as possible so that JL is profitable. The honest truth is none of us here has done a cost analysis based on modern smart drilling methods to know the likely financials of the project. I presume this will become apparent when Greenland Energy Company (GEC) starts giving project information to the market after drilling/listing on NASDAQ. Even the sequence and timing of these two events are currently unknown known to us here.

As I have mentioned previously, March GL are backed by wildcatters from Denver and Texas who have made a shed load of dosh from investing in the oil sector in the past 40 years. They certainly must have done some in-depth due diligence on the JL project before deciding to fund the venture.

Let’s hope Halliburton, OPT Well Solutions, Stamped Drilling and the wildcatters from March GL strike oil, and strike BIG.

NB: Rod McIllree will become an executive director on the Board of GEC representing 80M. Robert Price will be CEO.

It is also worth noting here that Robert Price became CEO of 80M’s newly formed industrial gas and petrochemical business unit when the acquisition of Greenswitch was announced in the RNS on 19 December 2024.

In February 2025, BP abandoned its green ambitions in favour of ramping up fossil fuel production as its boss claimed that optimism over the pace of the green transition had been “misplaced”.

In a major strategy shift, BP announced it would increase its investment in oil and gas from $7.9bn to $10bn a year while slashing more than $5bn from its previous green investment plan.

“Today we have fundamentally reset BP’s strategy,” said BP’s CEO, Murray Auchincloss. “This is a reset BP, with an unwavering focus on growing long-term shareholder value.”

Auchincloss said BP would instead focus on strengthening its production portfolio by starting up 10 LARGE-scale oil and gas projects by 2027 and a further eight to 10 projects by the end of the decade.

So, BP have reset in favour of oil & gas with a plan to start 18-20 NEW projects by the end of the decade. That’s a renewed vote of confidence in the prospects for oil & gas during the stated period. So, JL needs to get cracking, it seems. Drilling is expected to start in the months ahead but let’s wait for confirmation from 80M about the actual date.
