I will say this though, the supreme courts which are the highest courts in India got involved and made the COC have a meeting with MPL to consider their proposal.

"The Supreme Court has directed the Committee of Creditors ("CoC"), led by Prudent ARC Ltd, which now holds the Company's debt, to consider the Company's proposal under Section 12A of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. "

So I personally think they will block the acquisition from taking place as MPL have the ability to completely pay off the debt and fund future developments. Again it is high risk but if goes in favour then huge gains to be made.

Yes that rns was not the best, but they are going to take it to courts as mpl got played. The minutes were not accurate and COC never really considered the proposal. It was unfair and unjust. They will raise the concerns with the governments since they recently concluded a UK-India Free Trade and the way mpl have been treated does not fall in line with the principles of the Free trade.

They also still have the backing of an international oil and gas company who they recently had an agreement with and already started generating revenue. They have major stakeholders who are still supportive. Wouldn't be surprised to see if one of these are taking positions. Remember someone took around 4.4% few days ago, could possibly be still adding before we get Tr1. Has been NT to buy for most part of this morning.

Its not over yet imo but there are still risks involved. However, if they get their asset back after getting both governments involved and through courts then it will have a major re-rate.
