The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
If we are paying a fee for late reporting I can't see the interim report any day this week otherwise they would have just hurried up the report and published and saved the fee. I'd guess possibly another 10 days before we hear anything, just hope this doesn't just drift each day, how I long for some positive news from the board.
This is getting ridiculous, each day the share price slips and still we get nothing from the company, no new message, no proposed road map for the future, just silence. Only news is of a downgrade in production, for this year and delays in commissioning, I was hoping that after taking over the company the new guys would have had something to say even if it's just platitudes to keep us onboard, this is like death by a thousand cuts, at this rate they will watch the share price all the way back down to 5p.
Copper3, looks like you were correct with the timing of the interims, note to self, don't believe everything you read.
It will be interesting to see if interim results are published tomorrow as indicated on the II site, whilst I appreciate that without auditors no credence can be put on any figures but hopefully we may get to see what direction we may be moving in and what the road map is for where the new leaders want to take the company, any news would be better than no news.
I trade with ii and it's on their trading site.
Interesting that the interims are to be the next trading day, 21st Sept, to POGs inclusion on the GDXJ index, 18th. Sept, hopefully there will be so much good news in the interims that the institutions load up next week..
Anyone know the fate of the two Russian companies who have been excluded from the GDXJ index so that POG and the other company can be included, has there been a sell-off by institutional investors, as it might give an indication to what to expect after the 18th, e.g. institutional buying.
Beat me to it Freddie2.
POG 2% up on Moscow market now.
Just been looking at an article from the FT which highlights that as a result of a tax on bank savings which will come into effect at the end of the year which aims to help pay for the covid costs many Russians are pulling their saving out of banks and investing into the stock market. With POG being accepted onto the MOEX exchange as of 18th Sept this should boost the prospects of POG over the coming months and explain why there is currently more buying on the Moscow market than the London market recently. Hopefully this buying will continue on Monday in Moscow.
Just been checking the 5 yr price forecast on Walletinvestor.com, it gives a month by month forecast culminating with a price of 372 roubles, £3.80 in August 2025, the forecast steady growth in the stock throughout the period and also forecast 57 roubles by year end and are obviously very bullish on the stock. Here's hoping.
Let's not forget that the $700 includes the whole process of getting the rock out of the ground and milling costs , if we enter into a toll agreement these cost are within the split with Calibre. All we need to do is strip a bit of top soil and load a wagon up with ore and that's it, not really a £700 dollar process I think.
Just been reading a good article on the Money Week 'Guru Watch' entitled 'buy gold ahead of China's big currency move, which interviewed Charles Gave chairman of Gavekai where he states that China is looking to put gold back at the centre of the global payment system, taking over from the 'sinking' dollar, sorry not got a link to it, but the advice is to buy physical gold, gold miners and producers. Heaven knows what would happen to the price of gold if this ever came to fruition.
Wondergoals, I agree, it's been nearly 3mths since any notable runs, surely we have been progressing something noteworthy to keep interest in the share. I appreciate we don't want rns's on a weekly basis declaring that they have changed the coffee they drink in the office, but hopefully we have progressed something over a 3mth period that is worth of a mention on mine, land, finances or expected drilling targets and timelines.
Good article on Money Morning this morning by Dominic Frisby where he talks about the coming boom in gold mining companies in the coming months telling people to hold onto gold juniors and watch them boom, hope he is right.
