First it was Wait for first wave to end then second wave, then third wave, then new chairman, then it was wait for the new vaccine, Then wait for Lockdown to end, wait for numbers to drop, wait for varients to be addressed by even newer vacines, wait for Amber zone to end.... now we are waiting for asset sales. what we are really waiting for is people to get vaccinated and for the world to except Covid is here to stay.

God please stop the good news, its killing RR. Se need that new test bed to break loose and wipe out the M1

It descent matter what the new Gov travel advise is today because the share has dropped so much that it will only recover to yesterdays price on good news or Februarys price on bad.

I'm getting into an argument and that's always a mistake when two people have such opposing views. I've being in RR for well over a year now, holding aprox 60000 shares at x1 which is small to some but big to me, I've being up in the 130s and I've been down in the 90s. I knew nothing about RR before I joined but now I know lots because I'm financially invested. RR will not go down and I wish I had the time to type out why, but I really shouldn't have too. I'm staying in at 90 100 130 150 200 250 but might get itchy feet at 300 because that's where I see this share going. Sure I'll look today and see I'm 5k down and it hurts but I have to believe in my investment. This is not a refresh button company, its something to check when you hear good news and something too cross your fingers on when you hear bad.

I'm not saying RR will be nationalised, I'm saying the chances of it being broken up and sold are less than the chances of the UK government nationalising RR. Moaning about 10% fluctuations in a company with this sort of potential is just a good way of talking yourself out of a massive profit once everything gets back to the new normal.

If you truly believe this, then I have to ask the question.. What are you doing in a forum for people investing in the future of RR?

Selling a subsidiary of RR based in foreign shores is not the same as selling RR in its entirity. RR would be nationalised long before it was handed over to anyone. It is way too stratigic for the security of the UK.

Covered many times in the past. RR will never be taken over by foreign anything because the UK government holds a veto share and no way they will not use it to stop this happening.

RR can't find the floor to bounce off only the ceiling.

Javid announces we could see 100000 cases a day after restrictions lift. In other words he gave a number to the expected case rises that were brought up in yesterday's government announcement. So yet again RR over reacts to the obvious.

Fingers crossed for the future. We in the UK are know under the world's microscope. Britain will be remembered as the country that decided that we have to adapt and live with the virus as doing the three monkeys was never going to make it go away. I do now feel that China has a lot to answer for especially if this does turn out to be a man made disaster. China could not have warned the world any sooner if Covid was made by nature as it would have taken many months to realise what was happening and in that time the virus would have already spread, but if its something that escaped from a lab then they would have known its potential within seconds and the world would never forgive that scenario.

The irony is that if you hold RR shares then you won't be able to afford the Times subscription to read the RR article.

Should be a lot of todays chickens trying to peck back in tomorrow morning. Is this going to be one of those times when the day traders get left behind and lose out. I hope so.

I notice that everything that comes out of RR on the news front is tremendously positive, they don't seem to be worried about share price, covid or anything else really and they are pressing on with lots of long term future projects. The way they are planning for the future gives me confidence in RR.

What does 40% more transferable mean if you don't know what figure you are working against. I seen the headline for the Napal aka Fluffy Bunny variant on BBC but they are doing that thing where the say a percentage but don't give the principle figures that they pulled it from.

I think that we should stop naming variants after numbers and country's as it makes them sound more dangerous than they are.
If we use names like Fluffy Bunny, Cuddles, Booboo etc. Covid would be far less intimidating.

BOOM do not make there own engines but they do work with RR and its a logical conclusion that RR will supply the engines for a plane capable of traveling at Mach 1.7 as Home Depot just won't cut it. The deal with American Air and Boom is far from confirmed but if it is then everyone on here with an interest should at the very least be aware of it. Market manipulation occurs when someone makes profit from information secretly obtained from insider dealing etc. I'm almost sure pulling info from the BBC news website and asking a shares board for their opinions does not constitute insider trading.
