......and long overdue, the weekend tip giving Speedy a bit of momentum to move back through the 70s. The dire float of HSS kept us flat for a while but we should gain further ground from here in the next few weeks and hopefully have another crack at the 80p resistance level.

......have had their buying boots back on again, now up to 5.26% holding of Speedy. Good money attracts good money !

As I said in my previous post, good entry level here. If you look back everytime we have tried to move forward above resistance levels, i.e.60p and 70p we had a few failed attempts before a final breakthrough and each time we fell around 10% beforehand. Similar story here and with interims on the horizon, I'm sure we'll soon have another crack at that 80p level in the next few weeks !

....here, down about 10% from our attempt at the 80p level breakout a few weeks ago. Some good buying yesterday will help underpin these levels and with the partnership with Certas Energy and the price of oil less than 50 bucks, this will help Speedy's bottom line significantly. Topped up !

I like to think with that contract win announcement and with the £2.00 level being sustained for a few weeks now, we could be looking at a decent entry price now with limited downside. Market in general may be a bit weak ahead of the ECB on Thursday but looking at Balfours balance sheet this morning, it is in generally good shape.

And who knows, with a little push maybe just maybe, we might challenge the years high.............. Cue moronic de-rampers !

Out of Russia into Speedy !! No, I'm joking of course but the trades conducted today were both 'Agency Crosses' whereby sellers are matched with buyers at the current mid-price of the stock at that time of dealing. Nice tick up today considering all the market mayhem. Russia today and Greece tomorrow and we're still holding firm !!!

Great results from Ashtead this morning and similar results from Vp a few days back bodes well for our little beauties. Should see a nice little tick up today.

We closed above 70p ! Trading was very strange today, huge number of small trades less than a 1000 shares but hey, who cares! Lets hope we can cement our small glory tomorrow.

Lets hope we can move through this level and use it as a basis for a new support level. Judging by that large purchase I think someone else has similar thoughts !

Surely today is the day we finally crack through this level....... its been a long time coming?

Maybe the large sell orders on 24th September (see previous post) have been finally unwound as the two large buys were executed at the offer price ? Either way I think we may see greater coverage of the stock and the odd recommendation or two ahead of the weekend press. Speedy has been under the radar for quite sometime now but I think that will change after this week. There will be bumps along the way but as is often said stocks don't always move up in a straight line. After the last year, I think we can all testify to that !

Great set of interim results, nice forward guidance and an increased dividend payment as well. Middle East operations whilst still problematic have nevertheless been well addressed by management and we should see some positive news come the end of the financial year. Lets hope we can break the 70p level this week !

Confirmation that Speedy is continuing its forward and upward momentum should see us tick up quite nicely this week, fingers crossed !

C'mon our little beauties !

Good hold today and 1M shares crossed late afternoon. 9.3M sale of shares a couple of weeks ago, still held by the market and yet to be unwound ? All we need now is the US market to end off of its lows tonight, a nice statement from Speedy and some positive forward guidance tomorrow from the company. To quote Sir Alex, 'it could be squeaky bum time !'

As Macaroo stated earlier 2m+ on the sale side today in extremely weak global markets. Granted that our Speedy hasn't followed market trends of late, it has nevertheless been quite resilient all factors considered. Today could have been squeaky bum time to quote a famous phrase as we've had a great run since July (+33%) but I was pleasantly surprised that they were only off a penny. I'm hopeful that we can have another bash at that 70p level tomorrow and make it stick.
