After hours, market closed and up pops some big 'ol trades in Foxtons, just like last week !

The FCA are useless mate, my wife sent them two letters last year with regards to BC Partners and Russell Investments and their non-disclosed positions in Foxtons PLC.

The same templated reply......' We acknowledge your correspondence of (insert date) and whilst we don't reply directly to individual enquiries we have nevertheless passed on your concerns to the relevant department here at the FCA and they will endeavour to investigate your concerns....blah, blah, blah !

In a nutshell, like the rest of the post, straight into the large FCA shredder !!

As I keep saying, add on all these dips as the stock nears its 2024 lows , its worked for Wellcome Trust and the Yank banks and hedgies !

Of the top 20 institutional holders, 17 US banks/Hedge funds have acquired their positions in the last two years or so !

No dramas here, just read between the lines !!!

Maybe you should pay more attention to what is really going on here.

Perhaps you could enlighten us all as to how The Wellcome Trust hold over 13% of Foxtons without any declaration to the market.

I posted last year and more recently with regards to all those large volumes of shares being traded away from the main exchanges and how the likes of BC partners, JP Morgan and more recently the Wellcome Trust having acquired having huge holdings in Foxtons and without anyone blinking an eyelid. Did you see the Wellcome Trust holdings RNS ?

Well in July some 20m shares changed hands and on Tuesday this week around 12m shares alone found their way into someone's pockets and again under the radar.

And yesterday the unofficial reported volume in Foxtons shares as quoted on the LSE was some 5m shares, the biggest one day volume of the year.

Summer holidays well and truly kicking in , everyone away.......................

Bang on there Jed. I couldn't believe the mark up this morning and correct me if I'm wrong but I've never seen ITV shares being marked up by some 7-8p on results..........ever !!!!!

So, top sliced a few and recommended friends and family to do the same as most are in around 72p.

Ok 10p doesn't sound a great deal but agreed, it's nice to bank a few profits along the way.

Looks like Connells are in the firing line this time, makes a nice change for once after all those numpty reports about Foxtons from Bloomberg and the Daily Mail lately.

Albeit they've all gone very quiet since Mr Gittins outlined Foxtons future prospects in the Capital Markets day presentation last month.

Have a look at the £ around this time every year just as when the School holidays start to begin.

Government needs cash so what better way to manipulate the pound lower to entice tourists and make holidays for those here more expensive if they want to travel abroad.
