There has been some good rises and some large purchases recently, at first I thought we might get to 750 but already there for results. I'll be happy for it to settle in this range and see good growth going forward this year hopefully between 20-50%. But I dream of exciting news and hitting over 800 on Tuesday

Results on Tuesday will tell. Looking at major movements in price over the last year the highlights were 14% on results a year ago, 12% on Fidelity stake in July, 16% on acquisition of GKC in December, 12% on Peterson claim in Jan. I nearly had a heart attack with the 750, one share trade at 750.75 amid all the 710-720 ones. A one off!!

Thanks. I missed that. Looking forward to March 14th. Assume you meant 685/695 range. March 14 will all be about the numbers and forward p/e. Hoping for good continued growth based upon good investments.

Last year notification was made Feb 23, and results Mar 23. Not heard anything yet about this year

Recently when there have been drops there have been some big buys, noticed the two at 11:14 for over £5m each. I've topped up twice in the last week.

Some large trade purchases this morning, £ 4.2m 1.2m 1.6m 2.2m at 645p. My humble £3.5k was at 635

3% drop this morning, big buy at 130k at 650 then drops 10-22p. Just topped up more at 635

Had £5k from ISA when 396p so very happy with that. Just bit the bullet on couple of underperforming shares and put another £10k in Burford at 620p. Excellent news recently on acquisition and Petersen claim. Latest broker forecast is 650p which is probably just a reflection of the Petersen news.

Nearly all automated trades, same with Ladbrokes today. Both went high yesterday but can't find any commentary as to why. I'm equally in the dark

What is going on? 17:00 and google finance now showing .07% rise, while advfn and an bell saying 7.08%. Hope it is Google with a decimal point issue

I can't find anything anywhere. 2:30pm 13.5m traded, opens 119, low 116, high 129, current 125 and I haven't got a clue. Has to be some news somewhere to come out

RNS saying invesco now up to 28.26% holding. Possibly explain recent rise

No movement in price but 100% buys as at now today, some decent size too. Just an observation. Holding above 400 very well

Leader in its field is one big reason, I started researching shares post brexit to first come across Burford. I'm not a day trader, nor a week trader!
