Gold is going to be up and down this year but it will come good in the end imo. I’m looking for gold to drop to 1860-1850 where I’ll be buying.
Go read the report and also Tamesis reports that are out this morning if you have some doubts.
This period was flagged previously as being a difficult period and it was noted that production was always going to be weighted to the H2.
This is an extract from todays broker report. They maintain their buy recommendation and 20p target.
“ Today’s statement also mentions that Rockhopper’s cash holding as of the end of March 2022 was US$3.9m, and that the company will require further funding going forward (we assume over and above the Navitas pre-FID loan) in order to get to Sea Lion FID and for working capital (we forecast existing annual Rockhopper G&A at over US$3m).”
Yep if it breaks it there will be a lot of buys triggered and it will pop.
Sorry I didn’t mean head and shoulders pattern but a cup and handle.
I have a feeling this is going to jump in price soon. Currently support and trend line holding it level and a cup and handle pattern is formed here, so I recon soon it will jump up to 27-28p range then consolidate again which would in turn have another head and shoulders pattern form in a weekly chart which would likely play out towards the end of the year. My target for this would then be 45p-50p. Let’s see if it does play out.
New high created. Slowly ticking up nicely.
Hyve have done well to sell the Russian side of the business all considering.
The problem I see why the sp hasn’t moved much today is the Russian side was the profitable side of the business and the market would probably want to see the rest go into profit again before buying back in.
It will be interesting to see if the rumour that HYVE has sold its Russian side of the business for £100m.
Cheers Troajan.
No one knows when this would rerate. Could be next week or 1 year from now. What most would agree is the company is under valued. If in 2 years the company is hitting its targets then I’d see the broker targets of 30p and 32p as a good price to buy for longer term investment. So the current price is a bargain imo.
I think what investors mean by bottom draw is that over a few years this will multiply and is worth doing nothing with the shares held until that time.
Looks a promising update. At the current price it is certainly one to stash away for a few years. Last years results and a current seller has certainly created a very good buying price.
Looking forward to hearing from the investor meeting today, which I'm unable to attend.
Hi Silver Moon.
