Is that actually true? If a UK-listed company transfers ownership of an Australian asset (ProspectOre) to another UK-listed company (for example), why would they pay tax in Australia?
Not saying that paying tax in UK is any better btw :) but I would hope a very good legal firm would be involved in minimizing any tax liability.
I was under the impression that ProspectOre is an Australian subsidiary of XTR , with the asset being the project not the company
I was a tory voter for most of my adult life until about 5 years ago. Just a bunch of self serving hypocrites who have forgotten how to be Conservative and spend most of their remaining time in office navel gazing and backstabbing.
That said, I'm scared shiiteless at the thought of the likely replacement team lined up to defeat them in the election in 2 years time.
I have no doubt that Logbaba will be a success story.
I also have almost no doubt that I won't benefit from that success.
Can't say I share your enthusiasm for Kelly's efforts for LTHs REC1.
Think it's odds on we are going to delist. Seen it all before. It's not about us it's about the people who run vog
maisy. As each day goes by this looks to me more and more like my other dog share, BMR Mining (now Kendrick Resources).
That too was in suspension following a virtual giveaway of the company's asset 95% drop in sp, Many shareholders felt that the board deliberately engineered a de-listing ( from memory for going for too long without a nomad) so they could pretty much do as they liked as a private company.
Private shareholders heard pretty much nothing for about 2 years before being presented with a fait accompli takeover of a completely unrelated company linked to relisting and further massive dilution.
My original shareholding costing in total £22k is now worth £150.
Please don't believe it couldn't happen here

I'm surprised you haven't already received a share certificate for the consolidated Kendrick shares as replacement for your BMR shares. I received mine some time ago but only recently learned that HSBC are now accepting KEN certificates as they have now relisted,
I'm in the process of sending my certificate to HSBC to add to my other KEN shares. Hoping they will put them straight into my ISA rather than have to pay for a bed and ISA for shares worth a mere £150
Always said I would never top up again in BMR but have just had a little top up under the new KEN banner. Small fry compared with £22k losses in BMR.
Hoping that things move faster in Sweden than they so far have for BEM Eric.
Cheers 3card
