Big spreads shouldn't be an issue with an sp of 1p if big things are expected as there should be a decent rise on news. The question should be are we ever likely to get any good news?

I agree sushi. Bird has shown himself over the last 20 years to be nothing more than a one trick pony and at our expense. You are only as good as your last success and that was a long long tine ago.

Just browsing at the stats on the fundamentals page, over last 4 years for turnover and profit we have

So last year we made 50% of the profit made in 2020 when we weren't even producing copper. Since then we have invested tens of millions in copper plays and also diluted shareholders to death. You can argue that PGM prices were much higher then but chrome prices are now much higher and we have massively increased the chrome production to become number 2 global producer.

Not difficult to see why the SP is on its knees.

Cyber. I've been looking for a reason to invest here for a while now. I was particularly attracted to the low number of shares in issue (unless that's as a result of share consolidation), and the link-up with FQ.

But having been burned with shares in various Bird companies, Xtr and Ken in particular, I am concerned at the lack of drill results since last RNS over 5 months ago. It doesn't take that long to get assays through, and whilst the silence could be hiding good news, there is a pattern in Bird companies of hyping, over promising and then massively under delivering. So am staying on sidelines for now.

Sold yesterday thinking the rise was slightly overdone. Ah well. A profit's a profit in any language
