Difficult to imagine the bottled gas has gone down. Perhaps SDX are trying to ramp up the price, although I thought that was kinda set by the Moroccan government?

Agreed. A buyback means you're at the mercy of the share price and if this thing is in a death spiral then you'll get zero benefit if you just hold until the end.

One reason might be because the targets they're going for in SD suck and this allows them to reduce their downside to that capex. They get the "exciting activity" with less chance of total disaster.

People think it's going to be swallowed up by capex and G&A because that's what has been happening for years.

I wonder how much the cash pile has increased by since the end of September. This must be one of the cheapest stocks around. If the palm oil price doesn't crash, we could have getting on for 2/3 of the market cap in cash by next update in April.

I was long this at ~1.15. I sold half at ~1.65 and the other half right at the peak ~2.15/
