TT you hit the nail on the head and I have to say the way the RNS is worded and lack of any detail on that point makes me believe there was only preparation undertaken and not drilling. So be it but just let us know; I am still in this long and strong but would prefer a slightly more transparent communication.
RNS from 19 Nov does give some indication as follows to the works being undertaken and that the current drilling is on the main magnetic target zone with follow up targeted program once complete:-
“ · A drill program over the main magnetic target zone is planned and imminent.
· Further geochemical sampling on the 40% northern portion of the tenement is to be completed when a sampling crew can be secured.
· A gravity survey over the 4 new high priority target zones is being considered.
· Based on further targeting programs, further RC drill programs will be designed.“
@bitcoin - I have to say there could be something in that drinking buddy connection as without wanting to come across too stalker-ish but I did notice Colin’s DoB would make him 51 this year so same school/college/uni year or other similar connection perhaps….;-)
Have been invested here a long time and communication is very poor and am honestly not a massive fan of the BOD but you have to take it for what it is and expect the bare minimum. They do not need to RNS every move and that’s ok. You just need patience if you are looking for a long term investment here.If you are trading it which many seem to be then just watch the technicals and charts and do your thing. I don’t expect any formal comms until end of Jan on Red Setter at best given that’s about 6 weeks from start of drilling. Don’t get me wrong I would prefer some updates from site but you just have to accept on current set up in terms of staffing that just won’t happen. Ultimately if the gold is there the assays will do the talking. We just have to wait. I still believe there is something here though and the risk reward play here is too great to ignore. Good luck all genuine holders.
Nice to see blue today and some good solid buying. Cannot understand how the bid has stayed at 1.20 all day and we have a 25% spread. Hey Ho am here long and strong and see the huge long term potential as nicely set out by Bitcoin and must stop looking at the daily action however tempting.
Honestly can’t see anything on Red Setter until well into the new year (other than maybe a pic of drilling - and hopefully not just shorts or a kangaroo!) but it wouldn’t surprise me if we didn’t see something from left field on Cottesloe or Halo before RS. Holding long and strong. Good luck all Genuine holders.
I'm with you Dillon - time for topping up. Market jitters across the board on COVID variant. I like the look of the uptick for Gold though (back over $1810). Cobra are absolutely working to plan - just keeping fingers, and everything else, crossed on results from latest drilling. I do think interesting points made by Bitcoin and Richy yesterday re future drilling and need for raise/when and how much can be done. It does feel its riding on some good results and then further discussion with Andromeda on JV and future drilling.
Been a little quiet here but they have just updated on Twitter with a nice pic of the drill team hard at work at Clarke:-
“Drilling progressing well at the Clarke prospect at Wudinna.
This is hole CBRC0055 targeting IP anomalies coincident with 0.76 g/t of gold intersected in the earlier pathfinder saprolite drilling programme.

Hi all, I appreciate you will be weary of a newbie poster but I have been an armchair spectator for a long time until now. Am a LTH here and am sitting very firmly on my hands and holding long and strong here and have very much appreciated all your comments and research shared on this BB. I wanted to share something with you re the IOCG targets that had not been clear to me from recent comms and I think had been picked up as a question on this BB a few times re 5 vs 6 IOCG targets, but Ben at Vigo has kindly (and very swiflty) provided me with the following explanation which I am sharing in full:-
"Thank you very much for your email regarding Cobra. The Cobra team appreciates your comments as we are working hard to keep investors appraised of the operational activities which are becoming rather exciting.
With regards to your IOCG targets question. The Investor Snapshot references the targets in connection with the operating timeline - not how many targets there are in total. There are indeed six copper targets which come under the IOCG umbrella. Five have geophysical anomalies prospective for IOCG mineralisation whereas the sixth target is more reflective of skarn-style copper-gold mineralisation. The current operating timeline covers targets 1-5 for gravity surveying. Subject to permitting, that survey work may also extend to the sixth but that's not in the plan at the moment. I trust that clears up your query. "

So I have been compelled to post my 1st message on here having been an 'armchair spectator' in the background for a long time and a LTH here. Firstly my sincere condolences to Craig's family, friends and all those that knew him. Terribly sad times and too young to leave. I do believe in all that CB was working towards with ECR and have confidence that the team will follow and implement his vision for ECR. My 'mark of respect' top up of 51,051 is made (sadly showing on ADVFN as a sell). RIP CB.
