Like you @mikesadit, that must be the 3rd or 4th time I have voted on AJ Bell.....better than not being asked at all I suppose.
I have never known anything like this before!

I voted NO on AJ Bell yesterday, and got a message today to say I have urgent corporate actions.....dont know if yesterdays vote was still valid, but have voted NO again to try and get the message through to the Patels that their pi55 take low offer is not welcome here!!

Ii - Got an email on 17 March asking me to vote on the Court Mandated Meeting by 22 March. Logged on and this was already showing I had voted against all resoultions - re cast my vote to be sure. My previous vote for the EGM however was not showing, so have voted against.
iweb - no voting instructions on the website so called them again (Having previously registered a NO vote with them). The guy i spoke to had to check with a corporate team, who advised my original voting instructions were still valid.
If anyone needs to call, its 03450 707129 options 3, then 7.
Aj Bell - logged on to check - there was no email or instruction to vote again, so I just re-voted 'Against' to be sure.
Really not happy about this low ball takeover, together with the lack of communication and the confusion regarding voting, so hope this helps folks. Register your NO votes asap before its too late.

NEED TO VOTE EARLY
Just checked AJ Bell and got the following message:
Shanta Gold Limited - Urgent response required by 21/03/24 - Court Meeting (update)
Simple enough to re-vote.....dont chance not re-voting as it feels like those Patels are upto no good again!

Hi kadavul,
Have now voted on iweb, so that's a further 330,000 NO votes.
Help for other iweb users:
I had to call them on 0345 070 7129 (option 3, then 7) as the online chat was taking too long and then closed down when I clicked that I wanted to remain logged in.

Hi kadavul,
Just voted a further 320,000 NO votes on my ii held shares.
Still awaiting iweb voting to add more.
Thanks for keeping tabs on the count and helping to make smaller investors realise that together our combined NO votes are important.

Hi G_G_G,
Here's what was said on the AJ Bell site regarding cash hitting our accounts:
"The proceeds are expected to be credited to your account within 14 business days of the scheme becoming effective."
Like many others here, I'd prefer to own a piece of the company instead.

Further 350,000 NO votes against the resolution placed today on AJ Bell.
More to come when iweb get their act together.

Similar story on Halifax's iweb platform.....nothing in the corporate actions online.
I called them today and the agent didn't know anything, so had to check with the corporate team. After checking with them twice, she advised they would be sending out some sort of voting forms in the post ...the whole process didnt seem clear to me so I'll see what arrives.
Anyone else with iweb?.....call them and start this process EARLY!
I'm really annoyed with Shanta.....feels like insiders are robbing us of a company with a bright future!!

800,000 big fat NO's !! Feels like a stitch up job to me.
You can also add a further 78,000 NO's for my daughters too.

There is a recognised way for the brokers to do this - "Bed and Isa". I did this this last year through IG with my ggp shares.
I have included a link to IG's information page, so ask your broker if they offer a similar service.

All fiat currencies throughout history have eventually failed, and I see the $ as no different imo.
So much has been printed it has lost much of its purchasing power (over 90% if I remember rightly) and the Brics nations dont want to hold dollar assets anymore.
This week was the first time LNG has been paid for in yuan -

This marks a turning point i believe, and there will be much more trade in non dollar currencies going forwards.
I see this as a slow motion train crash for the $......as Hemmingway said, "Slowly at first, then all of a sudden"
Hold for Gold!

Ooops....best learn how to spell Singida.
Theoretically, it could be more than 35% PhatStyle, as the 30-35koz per year from Singuida will be around 50% of the 65-70koz from NLGM.
Ah well...we can live in hope.

Agree with you there booboo.....D.Brady of the silverchartist says the fed have a choice between saving the $ (high interest rates) or saving the stock/bond markets (low interest rates) if I have understood correctly.
It cant save all 3, so opinion is the $ will fall.
As you say....all roads leave to gold, and it why I have been invested here for several years.

Shaun did stress he didn't know what the figure was, but in his presentation I think he mentioned the increase could likely be similar in % size to the last.
It was only afterwards when he talked about possible MR increases and used examples of several figures to infer that they were all positive upgrades to the MRE. I do remember him mentioning if the increase was only 1m and thats what stuck in my mind.
I dont think anyone
Shaun was asked about this in the general get together afterwards......imho he did seem to downplay the size of the next MR update, mentioning figures even as small as a 1m oz upgrade.
Given he seems to want to buy the other 70% of Hav, I wonder if he deliberately wants to keep this under the radar to assist getting the 70% cheaper.
One other comment Shaun said in the presentation was that "GGP understands the asset better than anyone on the planet, including Newcrest"

I attended my first town hall meeting yesterday and it was great to meet with fellow posters - Bamps, JerrySpaniel, Dip and Zorba plus others. My only regret was not having met more of you....next time.
Thanks Panama (and others) for your detailed updates today
It was great to see Shaun in person and see his enthusiasm for building GGP into a multi asset producer. One highlight for me was how Shaun's eyes lit up when he started to talk about the possibility of getting 100% of Hav - There is no doubt in my mind that Shaun and his team are preparing like mad in advance for this possibility.
Sorry I didn't get to meet more of you.....anyone thinking of attending should definitely do so.
Looking forward to the next few months and how things play out.
