RE: THG MCAP now less than placing proceeds 15 months ago23 Aug 2022 13:39
this is the line from may 2021 rns
Proposed c. $1bn capital raising consisting of a subscription of approximately $730m from SBM and a placing of up to $270m with long-standing, technology-focused shareholder Sofina expected to participate in the placing in an amount of up to $85 million, with gross proceeds to be deployed to execute an advanced pipeline of strategic M&A over the course of FY 2021
$640 mill spent since on Cult and Bentley
£250 mill spent on Capex and integration since all proceeds of subscription and placing invested resulting in £200 mill extra revenue and £25 mill ebitda
All this happened since 500p ipo
and THG is now less mcap than this type of investment
Absolute bargain basement and that's why blank cheque will accumulate all sold shares in batches of decent volume when the sells mount up IMO
