Government have made investment manager and company aware that they understand market upset can make more the more investment planned and needed unpalatable

Personally I very much got the impression that this year is going to be consolidation on

Debt below 40% particularly the RCF and upcoming maturities apparently a very high level of interest at existing rates

Increasing fixing more than the current 5 year 60% hedge maybe even with insurance products

They mentioned in current talks with a few disposals

Repowering existing large sites (small sites are difficult) and extending sites as planning permission is easier as objections already overcome the aforementioned doesn't take a lot of capital

All will strengthen the company ready for the Increase in activity in 2027 leading to a projected cash flow of £550 million staring in 2032 continuing through to 2048 rather than the current £290 mill this was shown in one of the slides

Therefore SP should be back at this time last year at least because cash generation was better 110p buck

Lower wind speeds (I'm disregarding the forecast lower prices because they are due to nat gas as they put it because it doesn't effect they're long-term contracts but they have to report it) actually resulted in better cash generation than FY 24 and 2026 so far has been the best wind production in the last 6 years

Divi going up 3.6%

Buybacks to continue because of the discount to NAV makes it highly attractive compared to other uses for the excess funds

Repayment of debt to continue

Asset sales at NAV during 25 to continue

So much more there as well

Imo the bigger picture is....lots more wind farms and solar have been awarded contracts and they need investors if any shenanigans happen they're not going to happen meaning existing assets become more valuable or the sector gets better sentiment either way I believe UKW and TRIG win

I have looked at UKW & TRIG SP against the recent dips in forward pricing and the dip in December last year and this recent one does show a correlation but dyor
