BT chart looks a little toppy in the short term.

Lived in Nigeria for a bit when I was a kid, always meant to go back, never did. Was mostly in the north Kaduna and Kano but spent a bit of time in Lagos, loved the country and the people, a lot of other Africans seem to dislike the Nigerians though)

NMS here is 750,000 , all the 15m trades I can find for the last few days went through within the spread so I am 100% certain they are transfers as 20x nms would see big premiums for buys and a good rogering for sells to RSP's

In which case they could be shorts opening or closing or just straight buys and sells, who knows

Wasseem believes it is all smoke and mirrors, the vast majority believe it's a great opportunity. He's done his analysis and should be taken seriously and there are many equally talented longs who have done the same and can be taken equally so.

I don't know if you caught the psychology thread earlier but I believe the share price is stable, not stifled by a few shorters, they really can't make that much difference to the sp and people spend far too much time worrying about them. Now if you were in CLLN it was wise to worry cos it was a massive red flag.

Shorters like Wasseem are talking their book of course but the sp reflects current doubt and I don't believe it would be very or even any different without the odd short seller.

Everyone here, long or short is on the pause button until more solid information becomes available.

I presume your looking at a trade not a hold. Looking at the RSI if it doesn't break around 15.4 in the morning it may well go around and 12.75/13.00 looks like the bottom of the channel again and I'd expect some sort of bounce there.

Not by selling to market Imo. If I was short and nervous and had access to the block discovery that would be my preferred option. I have a feeling the short sellers may be counting on a discounted placement to close a la UKOG

Just to labour the short selling points a little more. Nobody would short sell to supress the sp at all and especially not if they were worried about the upside. That would be pointless as there wouldn't be the firepower to make a difference and there would be an even larger buy to close requirement. I doubt professional bears such as Mr Shakoor are adding to any positions atm
