There's no doubt the paper gold market has been rotten to the core forever, but you're also seeing dumping of all asset classes to pay margin calls and in a dash to cash. There's a lot of red flags out there pointing to systemic problems, credit spreads, drawdown of rotating facilities, repo, etc etc, gold dumping just being another.
It was heavily overbought as well on daily and weekly measures.

Johnny, there's a liquidity problem across the board, hence the unusual moves on small volume. Books are shallow and small.

SP futures nearly at limit down until cash open, again. I'm beginning to get really concerned about systemic risk in credit markets, bonds, repo, counterparty...bloody everything. What have the CBs got left.

Dow down 25% now from aths, mental. As Mr Doom for quite a while I expected a correction but the speed flat footed me quite a bit.

Hope everyone is ok, little bit of 'good' news US SP500 hit its weekly 200ma overnight. This was where it stopped in the 2015/16 and 2011 sell offs so a major historical support.

Just a little look at that IHS on the weekly, trying hard to break out although that was a fairly solid rejection today. It's going to take a little while to turn that weekly 100ma (the 200 is off the top of the chart) however this week's candle has held above it so far.

I'm still tending towards another iteration on the daily to 1.60 but it's all still a bullish set up imo

Apropos of something if you squint a bit there's a slightly mutant but nevertheless valid IHS dating back to 9/18 giving a target around the 3.40 mark which coincidentally would fill the 06/18 gap nicely.

I may have been a little too aggressive with my previous upward trend a little while ago but imo this is a bullish wedge, ripe for a breakout around 70% in to the pattern

The software on Sets shows the last AT as the sp, on large caps, liquid shares it is hardly noticeable. On Kefi, a little more so.
