Just before cash open on directionless index open two trades or more in each direction. Try and catch the spikes to close out without getting in an unholy mess of confusion (my preferred outcome)

The Dow is unwell, I can see a fall out of the mega-triangle TM, (sub 23,500) late this week or early next. I'm struggling for a bullish scenario, maybe one more pop up off 23500ish

From my reckoning a single Dow contract is 50,000 dollars, 0.5% atm is 250 dollars, new margin will be 2500. A total pain and will make everything harder. Existing open positions are not affected at changeover, the old margins stand.

30:1 leverage on major currency pairs = 3.33% margin 20:1 leverage on major indices = 5% margin 10:1 leverage on commodities (excluding gold) = 10% margin 5:1 leverage on equities = 20% margin A 10 fold increase in indices, 7ish for currencies etc etc It may be game over
