If you bought UJO ON 15TH Aug you'd be down 13%
If you bought UKOG on 7th August you would be up 44%
"An example of how derampers try to confuse PIs notice how 15/08 was chosen for UJO when the shares were .32 an not 07/08 (like UKOG) when the value was .27. Truly criminal"
If this has been posted before my apologies as I do not read every post, every day.
Application for the consent of planning permission held yesterday, East Riding of Yorkshire Council #RathlinEnergyUK https://newplanningaccess.eastriding.gov.uk/newplanningaccess/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=summary&keyVal=PUQN9ZBJ0OH00 … to store up to 199 tonnes of crude oil in three tanks
COMMENTS: The Council has no objections to the application provided that the maximum quantity stored is nomore than 199 tonnes and that all safety measures are stringently adhered to with no more thanfour tankers a day on site each day.The Council does have serious safety concerns of these tankers travelling on very narrow countrylanes in particular during the winter months with the possible consequences if an accident occursand consider that Rathlin should provide the necessary funding to improve these roads to mitigatesuch incidents occuring
When DB in his interview said that he and his fellow directors depend on UJO for their income it is the truth, according to companies house these are the directors salaries for 2018 and 2017

Whilst there is lull in postings, I just can not stop reading this posting over and over and then wonder why everyone is now buying the other U shares?
West Newton, referred to as the biggest onshore gas discovery in over 50 years is now likely to also enjoy the title of one of the biggest onshore oil discoveries too. Whilst investors await news on the extended well test and the competent persons report, the consensus of opinion throughout social media is that the gas is now secondary to the oil. that it is the oil that Rathlin, the operators, are looking to flow. Bearing in mind this discovery has been made in the Kirkham Abbey interval, it is far closer to surface than the original oil target in the Cadeby. The Cadeby of course still holding vast quantities of oil to be tested. This is as exciting for shareholders and the partners as it gets. There's no doubt in my mind that this latest information is going to completely revise the whole West Newton operation. I fully believe we will be getting confirmation of a commercially recoverable, substantial oil reservoir spreading over a vast area of the 176,000 acre licence area. It was confirmed that in excess of 30 metres of porosity was measured and that that it exhibited natural fracturing. Everything the operators want to see to know they can get this oil to surface. Rathlin used the Raptor 2.0 cased hole evaluation system to gather more information than could ever be gleaned a few years ago and as details emerge of just what this incredible piece of kit has located and logged, I am expecting a lot more good news. As David Bramhill stated, 'the gift that keeps on giving'. The testing continues, this is, I am sure, going to be an exciting few weeks! Union Jack Oil is not just all about West Newton however, in fact, Biscathorpe could potentially hold more oil and be easily accessed and recovered. A 'significant' column of oil has been confirmed, approximately over 35 metres with likely residual oil below that. Graham Bull was noted as saying 'we didn't reach the bottom'. Accessing this oil will require a side track costing approximately £300,000. A very small investment if it can prove up yet another commercial opportunity. So, with what I believe will be two feathers in the cap we come to the third feather. Wressle! 500-700 barrels of oil per day with potential to increase. Now this isn't an exploratory well, this is a producer. With some tidying up, she is ready to flow. The issue to date preventing this has been an objection by North Lincolnshire's planning committee which has now been withdrawn. Whilst nothing is 100% guaranteed in life, it would be fair to assume that Wressle will soon be adding to the UK oil and gas requirements.

daily Telegraph article: Hull has become the unlikely location for a potential black gold bonanza after a trio of companies drilling for what they thought was gas struck oil instead. Reabold Resources, Union Jack Oil and Rathlin Energy said a recent testing had revealed their jointly owned field in West Newton, just a few miles north east of Hull, is now thought the be made up of mostly oil, which is more valuable than gas and easier to extract and transport. If correct, it would mark the biggest onshore hydrocarbon discovery in the UK since the 1970s.

Q4: What are the next steps for Union Jack Oil? What can we expect to see over the coming months?
A4: Research, research and more research. The more we learn about this prospect, the better and we’ve learned a lot. Just this one well, basically, what a value-added situation because this is what happens when you punt some good money in. The last well didn’t have any core taken, this well we took 30 metres of core and it tells you everything you need to know. Amazing, absolutely amazing.

While short selling can be an extremely handy and profitable tool for traders under the right circumstances, it also comes with its fair share of unique risks. To begin with, short selling is inherently more risky than traditional stock buying because the potential maximum profit and loss imbalance is reversed. When buying a stock, potential losses are capped at 100 percent of the original investment and potential gains are UNLIMITED. When shorting a stock, the maximum gain is capped at 100 percent of the original investment, and the potential losses are unlimited. Heavily shorted stocks are also subject to buy-ins, a phenomenon when the broker automatically covers a short position at the market price without notice. These buy-ins can occur when the lender of the stock demands it be returned, regardless of whether it’s an inopportune time for the short seller.
Union Jack Oil (LON:UJO) Executive Chairman David Bramhill joins ************* to discuss the West Newton A-2 appraisal well. David talks us through the update highlights, explains how being a Oil and Gas play changes things, the significance of this discovery and what we can expect going forward.

Well micky mouse unlike you and other posters on this site I have more important things to occupy my mind than to scrutinize every post on this BB, so I posted this and it may surprise you that there may be other investors that like me, did not see that particular post.
Complaints about a smell from Rathlin Energy’s oil and gas site in East Yorkshire were reported to the Environment Agency today. The company began flaring for the first time this morning as part of tests on its second well at the West Newton-A site. A local resident noticed the smell after arriving home at just before 1pm. A video by West Newton Monitoring and Information Station, a group reporting on operations at the site, showed flames and haze at the top of the flare stack this morning.

There are 2 stories I always recall when I buy shares and the first one is "never trade with money you can not afford to lose" and two "how to make a million pounds on the SE, you start with 2 million pounds" GLA and have a happy sporting weekend (cricket and rugby)
