Your figures are interesting JMUK. With a mcap of 30m, the claim for Prairie (now GreenX) at $750m is 25 times. A $600m claim by PAT (more is being suggested) is 66 times the current mcap of $8.6m. The multiples generally need to be high to cover the risk. As a rule of thumb, a payout on success will be 1/3rd of the claim and a further third lost in legal costs etc. Also success (or failure) might be 2/3 years ahead. Early settlement is always possible of course, but one has to be prepared for that not to happen. I suspect that if a capital raise is needed, it won't be put out until the claim level is known, which should enhance the sp. Looking back, you could buy Rusoro (TSXV:RML) at 2c in 2012 when their now still ongoing claim against the Venezuelans was 300 times the then mcap. Now 41c but that's a long wait ! GLA
