Given the big increase in Bloom today you would have to be rather stupid not to ask why this has dropped so far in 24 hours.

I filled the W-8BEN form in too. When Carnival stopped trading on the London Stock Market, solely trading on Wall Street.

Costs a lot more to trade £160 plus dollar/pound fluctuations, all part of my ISA.

I am not sure how things work from the US/UK point of view though, given the different tax legislation.

Don't forget that you will pay a small percentage cost of any transaction on top of your dealing costs. For me, I would have to make 43 pence per 1000 Carnival shares just to cover this. Which I didn't. Hence me losing £12000 and throwing the lot into Ceres.

Inevitable because SPs never continously go up.

Am not bragging either. Took a big hit on Carnival today & chucked the lot into Ceres.

If it drops again tomorrow....

It was absolutely inevitable that the SP would drop quite sharply here, sooner rather than later. Nothing ever goes up in straight lines (well, actually...) shares that is.

What happens now is anyones guess. Maybe settle around £6.50. Back up to £7. Fly up to £8. Who knows?

But what we all know is that this share is moving into a post fossil-fuel world, which is the future. Most brokers have this between £8-£10.

Ceres already have multiple partners and are seen more & more as a global player. Something we, as holders, can all look forward to.

i suspect a bit of panic has set in here but hopefully will be back over £7 soon.

sold my carnival shares (wall st only now) & lost about £1200 and ploughed everything in here.

Everything seems to be getting a hammering today. US/Iran situation. Ukraine escalating the war with Russia. Hardly surprising.

This is the most unpredictable share I've ever held. A multi-bagger. Gone up massively in 3 months. Logic would dictate a price 'correction' but knowing Ceres, it could well shoot up to £8 by the end of the week.

I have taken profit here about 6 times in the last few months, then gone back in ASAP.

Over the years (25) I have learnt to take broker ratings/price forecasts with a large dose of salt.

Forget the past and look forward. Ceres is in an excellent position to take advantage of new technologies.

I expect this share to exceed £10 by the end of the summer which is why I am now holding. Of course it might drop now & again but do you really want to be out when it shoots back up again?
