I'm happy to see a bit of consolidation around here for the moment ... maybe a bit higher over 17.5 inline with TSX. Then a push on into 20s.

I've a feeling we might get a nudge from some news too... development program restarting has to be imminent and will be very well received news.

Confirmation of Gizzy's tip on the discount to brent being in singke digits will also go down very well... I'd expect that in Q1 results mid May, though it may get a mention in an operational update before then. Only a few weeks away if its the Q1 results anyway ... and isn't that very close to Cora spud in June :)

fine by me while we are in suspenders ... that said, I''m all ears to hear of any other top quality undervalued and underpinned share with huge upside like TXP and RRE... Always Looking For Another :)

TXP will not be valued lower than TRIN for much longer imo... I was in TRIN from 5.9 on relist, sold at 15 early 2017. Went TXP at 8.6 and sold half at 16, rest at 14 in late '17 ... now back in at 12 with a larger stake and will be holding comfortably for this huge growth stage as we approach a key target of 2500bopd through the development program plus the 'step-change' potential of Ortoire which has been such a long time planning but is now upon us.

Very well run firm TXP imo... healthy Oilmen / Moneymen combo and kind of a steady eddie growth strategy which may explain why it rarely gets the giddy ramping attention that some others do ... but it's a strategy that works for growth and with Ortoire coming into view now we also have an element of exploration excitement to spice it up, even if the first drills are a boring 95% COS :)

The company should list major shareholder that are over 3% ... not just top 5. Not usually up to date on company websites though.

You can ask for an up to date list and ask PB to update the website list at the same time... you can also ask for the share register but would likely see a lot of nominee accounts.

Mind you, PB was the one using the words...'significant", "step change" and "monumental" when describing the Ortoire drills :)

Not to mention PB also said something along the lines of it not being a question of whether you will find oil when sticking a hole in the ground in Trinidad, "it's everywhere" ... it's how much it flows.

Worth a reminder that Richard Sneller went over 3% and then 4% in TXP personally at around 20p last year.

He also recently referred to the first 2 drills as 'development' as opposed to exploration ... he's that confident and the 95% chance of commerciality underpins that.

I'm sure he also mentioned that good results on these first drills will de-risk the whole Ortoire block and open up 30-60 new targets. (and thats alongside the 200 or so development drills they already have to go at)

Catching up with another good session over there and it's us that are usually ahead ... so good to see a nice steady re-rate without any noise.

Funded 95% COS transformational drills still thrown in for free... early bird tier 1 tickets won't be around indefinitely :)

2nd Drill at Balata west is also 95% cos... rare opportunity presenting itself here.

Sorry for holders since results... I was fortunate to have decided to sell the day before as I wasn't prepared to risk a 75% gain on results being priced in or underwhelming vs their own Dec hype. Didn't expect the carnage that followed at all and thought I'd be buying back much higher than down here... I've taken a few back anyway to leave in now and see where it goes.

Kate will be on the ball and I expect newsflow in the pipe. GL all.

Small dip today off the 200dma ... which is only there due to the December oil crash so should not really present much resistance. Clear run through 20p from there to where we should be anyway ... throw in pressure building for Ortoire drills in June and bigbadaboom. Do DYOR.

Some trading has to be expected and volume is welcome Gizzy... technicals get to cool off ready for next move, which will be swift imo. Not worth trading for holders who know imo... huge summer coming up here. Transformational for Touchstone.

16p hit ... expect to see some trading around resistance here but a sharp move over 20 is on the cards so risky to try and trade imo.

Funny one to mention as TXP is such a quiet share and BB ... yet I see at least 3 RRE holders posting today that I notice are also in Touchstone, myself included... I also know 2 other investors who have sizeable holdings in both. No doubt there are quality parallels between them... well worth some research imo. Overtook RRE as my largest SIPP holding as it broke out today... not sure that would be the case if RRE were not in suspenders but looking forward to an exceptional summer as both re-rate.
