It’s Halifax Eddie ... HL and a few others are the same. If the actual live quote is outside of the advertised spread... even by a fraction... computer says no and you don’t get the online quote and would need to call them. Other platforms ... ii for example, will give you the quote anyway so you can decide if you want to accept it or not. It may appear to be a poor quote (and sometimes they really do take the pee) but at least you get one. Same goes for buying. GL

Risk repeating it I'm expecting Q3 results should read very well and should give the SP a lift... especially with several new drills also incoming before year end.

agree with everyones thoughts... it is a very easy hold and there is nothing wrong with a boring re-rate. That said... I expect a few of us will be coming up on a bag from that pegged 8.6 range and nothing wrong with skimming some pocket money on the way up. Do what you feel comfortable with Eddie.

There's the late reported sell that stalled it around 15:30 by the looks of it. Less than 10k worth, would like to think they can't hold it down for the sake of the odd sell that size for long... looks like they are running out. Watching for the spread narrowing.

Looks like s lot of buying since Paul's 10:40 presentation slot.

If the webinar is anything to go by I'd imagine Paul Braay speaking will come across very well and continue to create interest here.

chill out CRL ... no one is telling hinkals what to do. Someone brought up TXP, Hinkals response was to say that TXP was not far behind the TRIN share price which makes TRIN look good value... which is nonsense because the comparative SP has absolutely nothing to do with it. You agreed with him saying it was "a bit silly" that the share price was almost the same... probably why you are being so overly defensive. Someone corrects this glaring error (which is relevant to BOTH TRIN and TXP) as well as informative for anyone else who thinks SP has anything to do with comparative value between shares... and Hinkals response was to say "Was in txp .sold this afternoon.looking for another top up here" ... which is like a playground reply. As investors reading and sharing info and research it is ALL of our business to know, or have it pointed out to us, when someone is posting misinformation such as comments that values a share at twice what it actually is. I'll remain surprised and genuinely wish you luck with shark infested 'other one'.

I am very surprised that seemingly intelligent and experienced investors can make the perhaps the most obvious schoolboy error... dismissing a share as under or overvalued based on comparing the SP to another share... as opposed to mcap and taking shares in issue into account, Astonishing really. FWIW ... The TXP CEO Paul Braay was very complimentary about TRIN during his webinar Q&A last week. He is also very close to the action regards the tax situation and gave his current insight into that. GL

I think it's under the radar 'cos it's just so unglamorously boring ... a boringly competent and transparent BOD with a boringly large amount of skin in the game, constantly producing oil and revenues (yawn)... consistently drilling and bringing online new wells every 15 days, onshore in a safe geographic, increasing sleep inducing revenues and slashing the boring opex with every new barrel of boring oil added.... a boring re-rate in process approaching a mind numbingly boring 100% rise over the last couple of weeks with such a, yawn, long way to go to reach any fair value to peers. Its just one long boring low risk high reward yawn fest... no wonder it's still under the radar on AIM.

...what lithium ? ... long way from being an any position to supply a customer on that front so why would they be bothered "performing a thorough audit of our systems"... what systems ? 2nd customer (if there is one) will be for tantalite ... harks back to the 'competitive tension' touted a while back. Hope they don't want too much ... 3 grams a month throughput isn't going to go far between 2 world class customers.
