Great summary, I would add that I think there is more going on with Volz. I suspect that P2f may reach an agreement with Volz so they can produce probably 4 ply masks under it own brand.

From the link you gave for testing it mentions a 10 working day turnaround for a product to be tested
For the 5 ply mask if we go for a prelim breathability test then the full test, timelines could be tight for early jan.
The 4 ply seems to be on track.

I can comment on your first question. Our mask is effective for 7 hours so I assume NHS staff will use fewer of our masks per shift. The existing ones I presume are disposed off after say 20 mins.

My life seems to revolve around rms at the moment.
I think that I can see through the many veils which surround rms.
For what its worth this is my theory
1 Don't get fixated on the machine that is coming from Spain. Although it is a positive I think it will be used for the 5 ply masks to be used for health professionals - a very good income stream but not essential to boost the sp
2 The big one, the 4 ply masks which I think are going to be produce by Volz for the masses. Talk of Volz producing its own brand. When the mask is certified and Volz's machines start churning these out, this is when the sp will shoot up. Can you imagine the demand for a covid killing mask throughout Europe?
3 USA and Asian markets to be announced

For whatever reason the bod are playing a game with the certification of the 4 ply mask which is a concern as, as far as I can see this could go for certification now.
Volz's web site has been down for at least 2 weeks, I have emailed the UK and German offices asking when it will be back up and running, emailed over a week ago with a chase up. Deafening silence. I feel that the launch of the 4 ply mask has something to do with it, it is too much of a coincidence that it went down soon after the agreement with rms and is still down.
If we do not get the placing a feel we have hit the bottom, Even with a placing it is not the the end of the world.

It is straight forward
The Spanish machine has produced the 5 ply masks that failed the test.
The Spanish machine is been altered to take the new material which P2f hope will pass the breathability test.
Once the machine has been altered another run of masks will be produced. They will then be sent for preliminary testing.

Factory Acceptance Testing of the machine is due to take place later today, alongside this testing there will also be a batch of masks produced for certification purposes. The mask is being certified to the EN14683 standard"

I may be wrong but it is more than likely that the batch of masks taken at the time of factory testing are the ones that failed the test.
Therefore they did come off the Spanish machine and which is why it is not unreasonable to assume that they will do the same again and test the batch that is run off.

I think Volz could have the 4 ply mask ready to roll and are waiting on the green light from P2f
For some reason P2f are holding back certification of the 4ply. Once it is certified I am sure it will be boom time

It was the pre certification testing which I am talking about
The 5 ply failed so I presume they will do another test before they go for full certification as per the Rns you mentioned

It is very odd.
As far as I am aware, to be certified the masks need to be produced by the machine which is going to be used for the production.
From what I can recall P2f were going for certification before the machine is going to be installed at Bio City so the only option would be for the mask which is going for certification to be produced in Spain before it is shipped.

My thought process was that the Spanish machine was set up to run with the material that was used to produce the 5 ply mask. P2f need to change the material used to provide the necessary breathability and as such the machine needs to be tweaked the take the new material.
If the 5ply masks being tested are not produced by the Spanish machine where will they come from ?

I wondered how they could go for certification before the machine was installed at Bio City but I assume that the 5 ply masks were produced on the Spanish machine in the factory. The masks then sent over to P2f for testing .
I assume the 4 ply were sent over from Volz.
So once the Spanish machine has been modified it will have another run to produce 5 ply masks for testing.
These will be sent over for another preliminary test.
I assume we will get an rns about the retest.
Surely it won’t be shipped before the retest so we could expect an rns about the retest before 24th

The increase we hope for in January will come off facts contained in Rns notices.
Agree tb will convert warrants and is likely to dump any shares he has but the market may support the increased sp as it has the facts contained in the issued rns’s.
