My post was censored, basically saying that DM found gas but could not validate the discovery due to a washout, the new drill will hopefully find commercial gas.
lets see if this makes it the board...................
DM could RNS a shallow drill discovery at any time-right thru the rainy seasons if the Rukwa basin does not flood.
The new survey equipment includes those indicating potential traps AND gas, very shocking procedures we are told. [well drills require no base preparation]
Otherwise, the new drill at the maiden site will drill past the 130 meter clay seal at validate the gas there, hopefully commercial.
Mean time the area of the license will have been surveyed, and further targets identified, taking us closer to being the leading He provider.
This is still a gamble, there is a smallish chance of finding no clear gas
Been Googling mining drill problem/solutions and found plenty of information.... that I cannot follow because I am untutored in the subject.
I must trust DM `s judgement.
This is germane as the only reason I can think for the departure of the herd is that many think the Rukwa basin cannot be drilled at lower depths due to washouts.
It certainly is [or was] a flood plain with a fluctuating lake.
I think we are all agreed that in his last interview Mr Minchin said that they had reached gas but could not validate it because they could not get the investigation equipment down the hole [as the actress said to the bishop].
Due to cavities forming they could only get the the probe so far.........
He said that the new drill had been commissioned, how will this get over the cavity problem, cue for experts.......
He said that £10m was available so adequate funding one hopes.
Bustling along, DM is surveying with new equipment that can chart traps and gas because he wants to establish other sites in the license area so he can plan long term expansion.
Still to be established is commerciality but I share the mood of confidence of a splendid outcome.
David Minchin has bustled along, no reason to halt now, so he will surveying and water drilling where the findings justify it.
It keeps his workers busy, is economical, and if he finds a clay trap at a shallow depth then clear gas may be discovered, volume less important than further validating the whole license area which is about the size of London.
He has no obligation to disclose fruitless water drills, but if he hits gas, then an RNS will follow, so it does not make sense to be out completely and even less sense to buy substantially-in short a classic HOLD.
Will it be found in Delboy south London, posh -and Jewish -north or ****ney east, my money is on west London -home of the middle class [and Southall].
Helium is generated underground by the radioactive decay of heavy elements such as uranium and thorium.
It is not present from the big bang.
This means that a motherlode is not guaranteed to be at the base of Helium shows, although we are dealing in millions of years, so long time generation of Helium could produce a sizeable pocket---but it is all about traps.
Helium was found in the first 100 meters, which means that water drilling of promising sites could be carried out in the next weeks, contingent on the seismic studies promised --where there is a clay trap for example.
Helium is not generated, it is from the big bang 4.5 billion years ago, the Rukwa basin -100% owned- has surface traces of He and the maiden drill down to1200 mtrs has shown layers of HE. They are coming from somewhere, thru seeps, cracks or slide interfaces but there must be gas at the source or it would have dried up eons ago.
The 379 sqr kilometers of the licensed area which can be surveyed and the promising sites water drilled =one a week -through the rainy months with a fair chance of finding clear gas.
It looks as if the motherlode is below 1200mtr requiring a bigger drill unit so it may be after the rains in 2022.
A discovery, no matter how small, would vastly increase the chances of hiving off other areas of the Rukwa basin.
My opinion is that we are onto a winner.
Either they are investigating only before the November rains, or they are shallow drilling quickly in the next two months-or a combination of the two=identify a likely prospect then a days drill [they found an He show within the first hour on the initial drill] then wireline ----move on if no clear gas.
That is what this CEO will do, it fits his personality from what we have seen so far--confident [remember the walk?] experienced and well qualified.
If they choose the area where the driiling company paid in return for shares, that will gee them up big time, and any dilution will be swallowed up by the move to production, and all that this entails.
The next week will reveal whether it is passive investigation or investigation and action.
`Helium One has completed its 2021 exploration drilling campaign with the identification of a working helium system in the Rukwa Basin. Drilling has demonstrated seal, reservoir, and trapping geometries as well as identified a charge mechanism in the basin away from known surface seeps`
What is this charge mechanism?

The hunt is on .............wish us all good luck!!!
The RNS is upbeat and encouraging.
There are shows at many levels down to the deepest drills.
Now the hunt is on for free gas at one of the three drills planned and fully funded.
I acknowledge the risk is that no free gas is found in the whole Ruckwa basin and this why I have bought at these low levels, aiming at selling when excitement mounts on new drills, I have other shares showing promise to grow.
Of interest in the RNS is this------

Amid the hundreds of posts I know my posts are being watched by a lovely lady and an experts answer will surely come.
I have been invested in Bacanora for five years, the mine is at the surface, no overhang to remove, is is 94%+ pure lithium, and it is 100 miles from the US border with rail links.
The move to electric vehicles is gathering pace and the demand for lithium will grow exponentially.
The share will continue to rise once these facts are widely known [IMHO]
Friel is heavily invested personally in his companies, his success is our gain, that is why I am invested and will increase my holding. We will be living with medical matters for years to come, and the planned offshoots will cater for these programs.
We will have a [delayed] share in those coys, our CEO will profit, we will too because we will have skin in the game [BIG TIME!]
My post today featured on todays media blog----I have not been so chuffed since I won a gold nibbed fountain pen from investors chronicle years ago.
Of course it means that they may have drilled the two rock formation traps and found HE but in brine solution.
They are now shallow drilling the shale layer to investigate it.
Fingers crossed we find clear gas in one or more of the fully funded areas planned.
Game on!!!
My bet it is over extended investors who have borrowed heavily and are selling at any price to avoid ruin should this prove a duster.
Of course it could be that He is throughout the Rukwa basin--but mixed with brine and unextractable.
You can trust that the Oxford team have established that rock formations clearly show where traps may exist, we just have to hope that we find them and clear gas.
This persistent selling is beyond shorting.
The seismic studies over 5 years clearly show seal formations over several planned drills'
The first drill washed out because the drill could not be investigated.
No need for share buying patterns, just accept that Helium is there-and the shows indicate it is substantially present in the first drill.
The shale layer was a surprise and is being re-drilled to find out about its properties as a seal.
