Surely warrants only become a detriment when the subscriber opts to sell the resultant ordinary share? Can't imagine that all subscribers are immediately selling, although I'm sure many are because it's guaranteed profit. But in answer to your question, not a clue!!! Does anyone know whether the shares arising from warrant exercises can be forward sold?
Aren't they obliged to release price sensitive news as soon as it's known? Don't think they can hold it back just to make a few shareholders happy.
I fully agree that it will be RNS'd, just not sure we'll see 20p+ as a result!
In fact, re-read that, there really is no abiguity!
"An AIM company must issue notification without delay of any new developments which are not public knowledge which, if made public, would be likely to lead to a significant movement in the price of its AIM securities." I guess that statement is somewhat ambiguous. The new development in this case would be that the money has actaully been deposited. Obviously it has been announced that it will likely be deposited today but I think it the actual deposit will have to be RNS'd as it MIGHT lead to "significant movement in the price". I'm not going to even try and predict the SP but I do feel as though it will not be the dramatic rise some are expecting...obviously would love to be wrong.
So true, I hope to god that no one buys on the basis of a 'code 1'!! Had a look at KBE today, just out of interest. I have absolutely no idea why anyone is going near that...
Bloody code 1's haha - there's so many of them that eventually some of them will coincidentally appear to coincide with an RNS.
Cheers Dave, will have a read at lunchtime
Will do - I'm well aware of the shady tactics used by MMs already but didn't know if widening the spread actually had any benefits whatsoever (to PIs that is). Imagine if it were a level playing field for all, it would be a beautiful thing!
I'm fairly new to investing (6 months) and I've never understood the benefits of widening the spread. I thought the MMs were there to help create liquidity but from what I've seen a large spread dissuades both buyers and sellers often holding a share back for months. Can anyone elighten me?
In PXOG too, feel like the placing shares might hold that down for a while - expecting a much more significant rise here in the short term
It's actually getting really frustrating (nothing new). Buy after buy and the price barely moves only for a single sell to move it down to low 9s. Then repeat the cycle!!!
As long as we have people willing to sell low, mms won't see any reason to up the price. I really wish buys v sells did dictate the price!! Might make a more level playing field for us pi's
I'm with you there mate, selfishly hoping we see 2.1-2.2 again!
Maybe a little but at least we're holding a decent price rather than just flopping back down to 2.10! Hopefully more fireworks on the confirmation RNS mate - shouldn't have to wait long.
I still think Noked have a few more shares to sell, pretty confident the 500,000 sale at 9:50 was them, can only have 1-2 million left surely?! I think by the time we get the RNS confirmation that the cash has been received they will be totally cleared out and we'll be free to move up well into the 3-4p range (at least). Good riddance!!
Apologies for my fragmented posts, my phone is a pile of poo
Would make me laugh so that's how I arrived at my lse name! Everyone wants a 10 bag for Christmas though you can't deny it. Oh, and I didn't turn 18 but did turn 26 on Christmas eve.
Oops. Do you not like it?! Oh well, supposed to be sarcastic anyway. I started trading a year ago and the hilarious '10 bags by next month' on most boards would
Do you
