I'm a rr. Investor not invested here but I am watching this one closely. My opinion is that the smart money will buy today and hold long term. I did the same with lloy last week for my daughters jisa. Don't lose faith and sell low as that's how the money is moved from the impatient to the patient . Dyor
Hitler wasn't German.
Might open up to get the fools on the hook then drop like a blind roofer.
I've been watching all the speculation here all weekend. We really need to sharpen up on this BB. My guess is its all a con.
I wish you luck with that but I don't see where your confidence comes from.
600-700?? It'll be nearer to 60-70. I keep looking at these struggling companys as recovery plays but any upside seems a long way away. Someone will make a fortune picking the right ones but it's far to risky for me.
I spotted two fat ladies 88 @ 1627. With your two ducks we can start a game of BS bingo!
What's that smell?
It never ceases to amaze me how people will invest their hard earned without even a basic knowledge of how a particular company goes about its business.
Not quite, it refers to the number of days I've wasted holding them!
Don't panic, I can't see it lasting. I've been here too long! :-)
Jamie does a good burger recipe, you can't beat a home made one. And it didn't contain a single horse ;-)
I'm guessing that we'll see a decent rise here tomorrow looking at what the Dow is doing right now. If we get to 940 before ex div I think I'll sell and ether buy back a few days later or if the sp doesn't sink much, drax looks like good value to me
Any guesses as to what the sp might drop to after we go ex div? I kicked myself for not selling before the previous ex div date at 950 and a short while later the sp was 860 :-(
A good point sir and well made.
From memory I think the cut off was the 6th dec so you should have it I guess
I'll Start then. 760
Since the day I got in here the sp has more or less followed the fluctuations of the ftse which in turn more or less follows the dow so its hard to say atm. I want to top up before the year end in march as I really think 2013 may have been a vintage year on the grid, imo you might have to settle for a top up around 765. good luck :) ,
