It comes a week after Lloyds Banking Group said it will close 40 Halifax & Lloyds sites in England and Wales.
Lloyds said the number of customers visiting the branches it plans to close had dropped by 60% on average over the last five years.

Broker upgrades are encouraging, however in my experience its based on a BLUE SKY DAY, free from world economic problems.
First sell @ 55p for 20% POR....nothing wrong with locking in some profits if/when.
Second sell @ 59.85p for 25% POR.....will adjust over the coming months!
All being well, I'll hold the remainder with a lower average.

If you're happy with the div and never trade any part of your Lloyds shareholding .....each to their own investing.

Many posters appear more focused & excited with low-priced buybacks than a higher trending investment....yeah possibly an extra 100-200 pounds dividend for every 100,000 shares investment.

Just imagine Lloyds @ 40p ...whoopee yield 5% ..... capital destruction for some investors. Nah, everyone bought sub 25p. yield 8%...lol OR SB ....successful or heartbroken!

Cheering on 50p plus....in my view only.
