UK ripping out Huawei equipment and replacing with Ericsson and Nokia gear. UK is going to be well behind the curve at this rate! Open ran being adopted though , we’ll see

Vodafone has been a notable supporter of OpenRAN as it believes a healthy ecosystem could help it replace Huawei equipment in rural areas

I didn’t mention it at the time because surprise surprise it slightly confused me but during the Tarana interview the boss was asked about performance of their equipment in inclement weather and he replied that due to the wavelength used it still worked perfectly . So ENETs patent was for this solution and not their addition to the Tarana set up ? I’m not going to pretend to understand any of the jargon but I do realise it is yet another game changer ! Atb
