The fund raise in December 21 was heavily oversubscribed at 65p per share alongside the new unsecured debt of $55m. Since then the debt has reduced to a current $36.75m with the majority of conversions at around £1 per share. Why do you see any potential fund raise presenting such a problem moving forward?

I have held SOLG shares since 2008 and enjoy reading the mix of posts on this site which at times are very informative, or at times a bit bonkers especially in recent months. I have traded many times over the years, in modest amounts and made reasonable profits along the way. I have also retained a core holding as I believe this will come good in the fullness of time provided I am still around to see it. From my ii trade history, share price was 12.5p on 20/9/2010, 28.5p on 9/2/2011 and 44.28p on 4/4/2017. For me, SOLG has been my best investment by far but my faith and patience have been tested many times over the years. GLA

is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ennstone PLC. The RNS suggests that the UK and Polish operations can continue to operate independently of the US business, subject of course to funding and bank support beyond the end of March.

Realistically, the only way the SP is going to move back above 1p is if an offer is forthcoming. The trading statement of 6th January saw this drop like a stone having been inactive for weeks previously but, if anything, the half yearly report is slightly more encouraging in that they are at least still trading. There was some strong institutional support last year with 2 placings at 3.5p and 1p, although I'm not sure that support is still there and any lift in SP could just prompt some institutional dumping. I don't see how ramping alone will see this spike but the words of caution are entirely appropriate given recent history and performance outlook.

Another disposal, in the US this time, generating $1.73m and after repayment of outstanding asset finance a net $1.52m. This asset was in the year end accounts valued at $1.95m so not a bad price, given the situation. Could provide a lift tomorrow but in this market, who knows.

Please don't be so patronising. I have already said the dividend was pulled but, nevertheless, a payment of 0.23p per share was still in my account this morning. I have since checked again and this has now been reversed. If you want to have a dig in future then spell correctly, it has more impact.

If financing is still critical, as RNS states, then why would they want to pay a dividend today totalling over £1m? This was pulled some weeks ago and it would surely have been appropriate to wait until things were more settled before distributing.

Disposal of redundant quarry in Co. Durham for £1.325m should create more confidence. Whilst sale price is less than book value this site generated no income last year.

payment received into my trading account today at 0.23p per share having previously been held back by company due to cash flow problems. Clearly, funding is no longer an issue and, given that this was the key concern for Ennstone, I can only see positive movement in SP moving forward.

After weeks of inactivity pleasing to see movement. Not aware of any update driving this but sudden increase suggests something coming.

has moved up slowly but surely, now up 40% over the last week on little or no volume and no further update. Positive news on the way?

In your opinion, does this now imply that Meteorix, with a 94.9% holding, must make an offer for the remaining shares or does the waiver given by CRC previously still apply.

Non-payment of dividend was announced 19th November and I agree that anyone investing today expecting this is naive at best. I am simply trying to say that you have made your point with supporting information - if people choose to ignore or disagree and still invest, then so be it.
