Possibility that if future group know Koovs will fold without the funding they could take a calculated decision to withhold it and pick up the pieces of Koovs they want on the cheap?
Yes, remains to be seen how well they will sell, especially with so much competition.
On Argos Eve are competing with 140 other mattress from 19 different brands. Similar on Dunelm, competing against 215 mattress from 24 brands.
And there's no unique selling point or prominent placing, it's just another a good mattress.
Eve mattresses seem to be rolling out in Argos stores, available to click & collect in London today, and from next week elsewhere
As thought the new website has been a disaster. -14% in what should have been a growth area. It still remains a horrible clunky mess now, especially on mobile.
There's no excuse with so many good providers in this space.
Oh, is it a bigger warehouse? :/
Shhh, they don't like any mention of the warehouse around here
Absolutely, the online reviews are always only going to represent a tiny fraction of the customer base.
It was the change in sentiment around the end of June and common theme I picked up on.
And Google demoting the app by 20+ ranking places.
Plenty of activity on the Koovs app over the past 30-40 days...

Biggest falls seem to be from paid and social traffic. Likely been a reduction in marketing spend in July.
Similarweb have released their estimates for July.
Compared to June they have:
Web traffic down 40%
App downloads down 28%
Daily active users down 17%
Koovs app is looking good (?_?)

Interestingly lead times are out to 4 weeks on this mattress, compared to 3 working days for the rest.
No idea if this is normal on this mattress or not, I've not noticed before.
I thought Eve had terminated its contract with Dreams, or have I missed a recent announcement?
Odds on Koovs to still exist in 18 months time?
Not sure about any partner deal but looks like Jackie is correct on ITV: https://www.marketingweek.com/eve-agency-first-campaign-brand-positioning/
Eve should be debuting it's latest ad on ITV tonight during The Voice Kids.
How will Indias Ecommerce sales be the same size as it's entire retail market in 6 months time?
Anyway, you forgot the part of the PwC report that said they expect 3% of Indian retail sales to be etail/ecommerce by 2020.
Puts Indian Ecommerce at about $40bn, same as most other sources.
I understand how app downloads work but it seems you don’t...
Google ‘app churn rate’ or similar, educate yourself ????
Because new app installs are down significantly in June, daily actives down slightly, and daily open rate down.
Daily actives are only down a touch, so it looks like Koovs are retaining users after the apps been downloaded even with a drop in new downloads.
Be interesting to know how long Koovs have been promoting the app on site? If users are migrating from the website to the app or these are brand new users from a different channel?
The app seems to have been the silver lining this year, looking at third party data anyway.
Disappointing to see it lose traction.
90k active users per day. Though still a fraction of what most other online retailers in India are doing through the apps.
Not a great looking June for Koovs
Estimated web traffic down another 10% and app downloads down 30%
