XLMedia appoints industry veteran to develop gambling activities

(Sharecast News) - Digital performance marketing provider XLMedia announced the appointment of Shaun O'Neill as its new head of sales, with immediate effect.The AIM-traded firm said O'Neill would be responsible for the development and growth of its gambling activities.He was joining XLMedia from Kindred Group, where he acted as the company's head of affiliate marketing.Prior to that, O'Neill was head of affiliate marketing for iGame, which was later acquired by Kindred Group.XLMedia described iGame as "one of the leading online gaming companies" in Scandinavia, hosting such websites as iGame.com and Casinohuone.O'Neill had also held similar positions at Nordic Gaming Group, Playsafe Holdings and GX Magazine."We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Shaun O'Neill as head of sales," said XLMedia chief executive officer Ory Weihs."Shaun's wealth of experience will not only assist in expanding our presence within the online gambling sector in regulated markets but also help guide the group into new growth opportunities, and in particular, growing our footprint in key markets such as the US."
