WPP Makes Strategic Investment In US-Based Woven Digital

LONDON (Alliance News) - WPP PLC on Thursday said it has made a strategic investment in US-based digital media company Woven Digital Inc.

The advertising and marketing giant did not provide any details on the investment made in Woven but said it had been made through its WPP Ventures arm, which invests in new technology firms.

Woven is a digital media company targeting the male millennial demographic in the US, running the Uproxx, Hitfix and BroBible brands.

WPP shares were down 0.9% to 1,539.00 pence on Thursday.
