Wizz Air made offer approach to easyJet that was rejected - source

Thu, 09th Sep 2021 09:20

Sept 9 (Reuters) - Low-cost airline Wizz Air Holding
made a takeover approach for easyJet that its British
rival rejected, a source close to the matter said on Thursday.

EasyJet said earlier that it had turned down an all-share
takeover offer without specifying who the buyer was.

Wizz Air has declined to comment on reports it was the
suitor.
