Verici DX raises GBP280,000 via retail offer, adding to placing raise

(Alliance News) - Verici Dx PLC on Wednesday said it raised GBP280,000 via a retail offer of new shares, in addition to the GBP6.2 million raised via a placing last month.

The Cardiff, Wales-based developer of advanced clinical diagnostics for organ transplants said this takes the total fundraise to GBP6.5 million.

Under the retail offer, a total of 3.1 million new shares will be issued at a price of 9.0 pence each. Shares in Verici DX were up 1.7% to 8.90 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.

Admission of 72.2 million new shares under the placing and retail offer to trading on AIM in London is expected to take place at the opening bell on Tuesday next week. This is conditional on shareholder approval at a general meeting on Monday next week.

Following admission, Verici DX will have 242.5 million shares in issue.
