Ultra Electronics Appoints Former US Army Veteran Hunzeker To Board

(Alliance News) - Engineering company Ultra Electronics Holdings PLC on Wednesday announced the appointment of former US lieutenant general Ken Hunzeker as independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Chair Tony Rice said: "Ken has huge experience of US Defense, Ultra's largest market, significant knowledge of our key technologies and the customers who use them daily. His appointment reflects Ultra's increasing focus on the defence market across the five-eyes nations. We are confident Ken will add to our existing varied experience on the board and will be of great benefit to Ultra."

Hunzeker spent 35 years in the US Army and served as the chief executive officer of Vectrus, a US government services contractor which specialises in information technology and network communication services.

Shares in Ultra Electronics closed 0.4% lower at 1,991.00 pence each in London on Wednesday.
