UK says no symptoms in British citizens onboard after hantavirus outbreak on cruise ship

May 6 (Reuters) - ​The ⁠UK Health ​Security Agency said on Wednesday ​that ‌none of the ⁠British citizens onboard ⁠the luxury cruise ​ship that has been hit by an ​outbreak ‌of the deadly hantavirus are reporting symptoms, but said ​that they are ‌being closely monitored.

The British agency also said ‌it is aware of two people who returned ​to the UK having been ‌on board the MV Hondius, but added ⁠that ⁠neither of ‌the two people are currently ​reporting symptoms ​of ‌the virus. (Reporting by Chandni Shah in Bengaluru, Editing by Franklin Paul)
